Our accommodation at Bellavista was exceptional, with a beautiful view. As vegans we were catered for with delicious meals throughout. The staff were exemplary, with our host, Louise, being efficient, friendly and professional; and our guide, Christoff, was fantastic - knowledgeable, considerate and a joy to be with. We'd love to stay there again, and would certainly advise everyone to go there.

Our group of 12 retired hiking friends stayed at Bellavista, which is the base for the Diversity Trail. The staff were friendly and helpful and the accommodation and the catering were outstanding. The late spring flowers were spectacular. The trail was truly diverse and our guide, Christoff, was a mine of fascinating information. He also kindly adapted the hikes to accommodate the more limited capacities of our group. All the days had their highlights but the Michelin Chef's dinner on the last night was memorable. A boat trip down the Kleinrivier at Stanford was a further bonus.

Beautiful estate with stunning view over Grootbos Nature Reserve and Walker Bay, warm welcome, fantastic cuisine and cellar, competent and attentive service: Many thanks for a gorgeous dinner and wonderful evening … we‘ll definitely be back.

We enjoyed the beautiful house and surroundings. On a clear day we could look across Walker Bay to Cape Hangklip and beyond we could just make out Cape Point. This is a place to rest, read and enjoy the big pool. We were just a bit disappointed as the information on *********** was not clear on the fact that there would be no room service available at all. Our room did not have self-catering facilities which meant that we had to leave Bellavista Country Place if we wanted a warm meal with the nearest restaurant 8 km away.
