Clean, well kept room and you can walk to a brewery at night. Shopping mall also close. Just outside hermanus and 10 minute drive to the harbour and downtown area. Michelle was very helpful and sent pin to direct us.

A lovely places to unwind after a long overnight flight. A well-equipped apartment convenient for Hermanus and around.

This place advertizes a 4* rating however it should be 2* at the best. We lived on a building site for 2 weeks without prior warning. We were demanded to pay for our stay on arrival! They forgot that we had already paid 6 month in advance and they cashed the interest!!! The braai and the stove were so rusted and derty that we did not dare to use either of them. Room cleaning took place once a week. Towels were promised to be changed every 3 day but were only changed after 1 week. If you can stay weay from this "guesthouse" The 4* rating is 10 years old and has probaly not been rerated since. The table on the stoep was so dirty the we could clean it!!! However fancy and partly broken artwork all over

Great I was given unit 6 and thus was only for business but the unit it self offers so much , I really appreciated the Garden , It is very well situated and also rather private the outdoor space was where I found my self after a long day and I can defiantly recommend Hornbill House to people.Thank you Mr Dry

Host was very helpful and very kind. The place was calming and gave a sense of relaxation.. very clean and cosy. I will go back again. Did not wanr to leave. Friendly host. Place got everything you need .

We really loved this place. It gave us the feeling of being at a Game Lodge. The top flat is spacious and well-decorated. Would highly recommend. Lovely coffee shop right next door and wine farms down the road.

We had a short but very enjoyable stay here. The host is super helpful and friendly. Loadshedding caused some issues with getting our car in the gates, but very kindly gave us the main entrance's key. Lovely apartment with everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding luxurious. Highly recommended
