No parking facilities, £8 I paid on the top of booking. Rooms too small. No staff was there. Just gave us door code . You have nobody with whom I will contact. When I arrived staff told me to call head office no if I need anything.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Very long story short, we (family with 3 young children) couldn't get into the room (managed to get into the hotel because another guest held the door). Called the "helpline" which got through to TRIP.COM who have taken 2 days to issue a refund after my husband travelled around Great Yarmouth looking for somewhere else for us to stay..... We WILL NOT be booking anything else with TRIP.COM

. The Hotel was discusting. I had to spend as liitle time as possible their due to the smell which smelt like raw sewage. Their were electrical cables visible in the walls and alarms going off at all times of the day and night. The room was tatty and dirty with cupboards damaged and no tea or coffee in the room. The shower was dangerous as t would fluctuate from cold to scalding hot. Things were so bad I was forced to leave a day early. In my opinion this hotel is not safe and needs closing down before someone gets hurt or worse.

AVOID I don’t even know how this place is still being advertised Very out of date like something from the 70’s, smelly building & rooms, wallpaper & paint peeling from walls & ceiling, dark & dingy, cigarette burns & stains on pillow, barley room to move around to bed, tv I’d say 14inch, rip in curtain, very dirty & grimy toilet that had been used & not flushed, Bath I’d say not been cleaned in maybe a year, All in all Awful, We paid to stay somewhere else, I’d say all in all we was there 30 minutes before deciding to leave.

The pictures on here and other sites are very misleading. They date back to when the hotel was owned by other people that actually lived there and took care of the place. Now, the place is deserted with no staff on site. the code to the hotel is emailed 7 hours before you arrive and also the code to the bedroom assigned to you. We had an issue where one code to the room didnt work. Two phone calls later and a visit from a local technician we eventually got into our rooms. Our first room seemed decent, two single beds pushed together but with no room to swing a cat. The toilet smelled, the room was hot and we couldnt turn the radiator off. Apart from some cobwebs dangling from the ceiling it was okay. Our second room however was horrible. Down a dark corridor which was so narrow both my shoulders touched the walls. The room was at the back, two single beds again. The toilet door wouldnt shut, it was actually detached from the hinge at the bottom. It was only later when i needed to go to the loo before bed that i realised the toilet floor was soaking wet, it seems the radiator was leaking and judging by the smell for some time. The drawers encroached on the exit so needed to make sure you didnt catch your hip on the way out. The ceilings were dirty with so many cobwebs, this hasnt been cleaned properly for some time. Having said this the bed was comfortable. Would love to have stayed here some years back when it looked a lovely hotel. You get what you pay for I suppose.

Firstly I found the room to be described as a double where it was a single with a double bed in it making the whole room very cramped bathroom facilities dated and attention to detail regarding cleanliness and maintenance lacking. Shower gel containers from a previous guest still visible Small things like an extra blanket or pillow hair dryer were lacking For some reason on our last morning in the room there was no cold water but the toilet cistern made up for it by constantly flowing after it was flashed. On a plus side no bed bugs were found as reported by a previous guest, it is a shame with the facilities that are available on the ground floor including lounge and bar area that the hotel is not manned 24-hours a day to give a much more pleasurable experience to the guests I also feel that someone on site at all times is essential in case of emergencies rather than at the end of a phone. However I do feel that the hotel has potential to be a very nice place to stay attention to detail is important and if a little more care and attention was directed towards this the hotel would improve dramatically

I stayed at the hotel room 11 on 14th May. The room was disgusting and filthy. According to *********** this is acceptable as the hotel is only rated 4.7/10 and they explain to all their customers that a low rating such as this means that the hotel is likely to be dirty and have problems. Cobwebs all over ceiling, cold water tap not plumbed in so kettle had to filled with water from hot tap tank system and teeth had to be cleaned using hot water. Dirty black hair on pathetically small cup and saucer. Stains and dirty all over walls. MOST IMPORTANTLY... I sustained an injury due to the top drawer of the chest of drawers not fixed in runners and therefore fell on my bare foot causing swelling, bruising and pain.... completely ruined my stay and was unable to attend planned events. The owners and *********** do not care and are not doing anything about it. I HAVE REPORTED THIS TO LOCAL ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT OF GREAT YARMOUTH BOROUGH COUNCIL AND HAVE SPOKEN TO AN INJURY LAWYER.

Disgusting place! We got to the hotel and the door was wide open with no one on the reception desk, I had no idea how to enter our room until I read a notice on the outside door with a number you had to ring. They claimed I should have had an email sent with the door lock pin codes but didn’t send it until I’d made the call. Outside looked good there was even a very out of date 4 star rating on a plaque! When you get inside it’s dark, dingy and smelly. It says there is a bar but it looks like it was last up and running in the 70s along with the dry water features. The tv lounge has no tv and all of the tourist info leaflets are at least two years out of date. I would’ve loved to seen this place in its hay day! It’s such a shame it’s being ran into the ground by a company that clearly doesn’t care about its reputation. There were several big laundry bags left at the bottom of the stairs, surely this is a bit of a health hazard. Our room number 3 had a big crack in the ceiling and lumpy floor, the only working plug socket moved about in the wall, we had to balance the kettle on a stool on top of a chair to get it to work, the tv and Wi-Fi don’t work, there was hair in the bath, the bathroom door didn’t shut with no lock. The toilet roll holder was missing and we only had one towel each. Only one flat pillow on the bed each and the bed was very hard. It absolutely stinks in this building and they’ve tried to spray an awful cloying air freshener to cover it up. There was a piece of wooden trim broken off above the bed and the light above the mirror also didn’t work. When we were discussing what to do about the tv for the evening we got a knock at the door from a guy claiming to be the manager saying we were being too noisy! We were only talking and it was 8:30pm! If the place hadn’t been so shabby we wouldn’t have even been discussing it. I’m shocked that this place is acceptable enough to be on lastminute.com surely there’s a certain standard for these type of places to maintain. I tried to make an official complaint via lastminute.com and they didn’t want to know, neither did oyo. I really feel like I’ve completely wasted our money and this place has ruined our stay.
