OYO Studiotel GY - Modern Hotel Apartments

Our apartment was clean and modern and contained everything you would need for a short stay. The bed was comfy and bed linen clean and fresh. Kitchen was well equipped, electric hob, oven, kettle, toaster and pots and pans. Tea and coffee also supplied, Clean modern bathroom nice shower, toiletries and towels supplied. There is no reception, you are sent codes for access prior to arrival. We had minor issues with house keeping and maintenance but the hotel was easily contacted and both issues were quickly resolved. We did see housekeeping and maintenance staff during our stay and all were helpful and polite. Great location, we walked from the train station. Close to everything.

I stayed at the hotel with my 10 year old daughter and we were both very pleased with the hotel. A great greeting upon arrival by Linda, nice cosy room with nice comfortable beds, all the usual amenities in the room although the shower sounded like a jet engine when first turned on but that’s a very very minor thing and didn’t bother us at all, room was very clean and tidy. Larry does a mean breakfast. All in all a home from home, Larry and Linda are amazing hosts, my daughter really enjoyed seeing the dogs too. Definitely will be booking for next year. 5 stars.

To be honest, it’s a good value for money hotel it’s not the best but the Price is honest only problem I encounter is heating not working. Windows are single glazed so imagine the wind coming through your room from the sea was my second stay here. Breakfast is good but you can see the lack of investment throughout

Great location. Minutes walk to seafront and town. Family room very spacious. Comfortable beds. Pillows a bit flat. Tea and coffee provided. Hot shower. Lots of tv channels. Only real problem, patio door didn't close properly so could hear noise outside. A few repairs needed, shower door a bit stiff, radiators marked but overall ok and pleasantly surprised after reading bad reviews.
