It's good, the staff are friendly and the place is very clean, the pillows are soft and comfortable, I highly recommend it, and I think my rating is low, anyway I hope to try it again, and every time I will rate it based on experience , I wish everyone a pleasant stay.

Had a weekend away in January staying at the Timble Inn. Would highly recommend. We had a superior room with bath. It was spacious and had all mod cons and importantly in January it was warm with good WiFi. Nice touches of filter coffee and cookies were good too. We had booked dinner bed and breakfast for 2 nights, on Friday night it’s a slightly more limited menu and this is included in the room price. On Saturday you get a £100 credit against the evening meal and it’s a larger menu. However both nights had excellent food and atmosphere. Saturday in particular was fully booked, I would definitely recommend booking for dinner. Breakfast was equally as good with a nice selection served to your table. The Inn is just a nice size, not too big and not too small. The location is great, it’s a tiny village but with good access to various other things in the Dales. Overall and excellent weekend, would definitely recommend

What an amazing place! Arrived and checked in. Greeted warmly by the friendliest staff and shown to our room which was just perfect. Impeccably clean, furnishing, bedding and toiletries all top notch and felt luxurious yet cosy and warm. Fresh water, homemade biscuits and plenty of tea and coffee choices along with teapot and coffee pot. Extra pillows, blanket and an additional heater tucked away in the wardrobe if they were required. We had booked in for an evening meal at 6pm. Attention to detail, service and food were top notch and nothing could be faulted. Particular mention has to go to three ladies front of house that night, Judith, Freya and Sarah. Each one of them had the perfect manner, humour and made us feel so at home. They are a credit to Timble Inn. We had been for a walk in the afternoon and the surroundings and views were beautiful, the village is idyllic as though it’s a picture! Given our experience as a whole, we cannot wait to go back. If you’re looking for a small, intimate destination, away from the business of life and to recharge and relax, this place and its staff are exactly what you need!!

What a treasure in the gorgeous North Yorkshire. A very pleasurable afternoon of fine dining and exceptional service. Judith was wonderful and attended to our every need. Will 100% be returning. Is also dog friendly through the day with the exception of Sundays so ideal for a bite to eat after a dog walk at Fewston or Swinsty.

Stayed for one night with dinner for no reason other than to break up the dreary autumn weather by having a cosy night away with good food that’s not too far away from home! We stayed in a lovely room in the adjacent cottage with lovely bed linen and squishy wrap around pillows, everything seemed to have been thought of in the amenities and lay out of the room apart from no shower cap! The bathroom was modern with walk in shower and lovely views from the window you. A see from the bed. The staff are all fabulous, welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. The restaurant is quite small so you need to be book your table. It feels personal, cosy and cared for. There are linen table cloths and I loved the dinner jacket shape they gold the linen napkins - love a linen napkin! Proper candles on the tables and a good selection on the menu. Portions I feel are quite large and whilst the food is. Ice, we have had better at less cost wise. It was as though it may have been stood a wee while before being served to us. My husband had a steak and he said it didn’t have that caramelisation on the outside he likes and no seasoning. We also had scallops, but too under for me, the quail breast and the stonebass. Huge thick piece of fish but I wasn’t keen on the dressing on the plate. Breakfast was all a carte- thumbs up from me I hate buffet style. The breakfast was excellent We would recommend and would stay here again.

What a lovely spot. Accommodation was to an excellent standard, the meals merited the two rosettes the Timble Inn has been awarded and to make the stay perfect, all the staff and the owner were both pleasant and helpful. We stayed in a room in the adjacent cottage, twenty or so steps from the main entrance. The room was on the first floor and beautifully appointed with a walk in shower. The cottage had a well furnished resident's lounge on the ground floor. The surrounding countryside is tranquil with good walks from the Inn as well as a number of towns and villages within a short drive. We only stayed three nights but we will be back. Just to note that in the winter period Timble Inn is only open Wednesday to Sunday, but check the website for full details. In conclusion, a great place to stay for a short or longer break.

A huge thank you to Enzo, Sarah, Nathan and Judy for making our wedding the most very special day. We couldn’t fault the food, service and special attention to detail. The chapel (100 yards from the pub), is just the ideal venue for a smaller, intimate ceremony, 20 persons in our case. Our pre meal drinks and canapés were served outside ensuring our younger guests could run around in a safe environment. The wedding meal itself was superb - we loved how much involvement we were allowed in the choices and delivery. The adjacent bar area was ideal for post meal activities and the icing on the cake was enough accommodation for everyone to stay over and enjoy a fabulous breakfast next morning. All in all an absolutely perfect weekend.
