The King's Head

This small hotel is tucked in a corner of the market square in Beverly. Unique listed building very well maintained . Hotel offers 10 bedrooms of varying size Room we occupied was very large spacious and comfortable, bed was really comfortable and bedding , towels and bathroom were spotless A small menu of breakfasts is available if required . Full English breakfast was tasty and of generous portion size , quality produce and reasonable priced . 20% discount on all food for guests staying in house The property has a small car park at the rear for guests which was a huge bonus as the main market square is pay & display with a maximum stay of three hours Staff team were extremely friendly and helpful Excellent one night stay at a very reasonable rate Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

The staff are very friendly & helpful. The room & bed were comfortable & our room was very large. The room was nice & warm despite the windows not shutting fully. The shower & bath were very good & the water was hot. We enjoyed our dinners & breakfasts, which were tasty & generous. We had free car parking in the hotel’s rear car park.

I didn't stay in the hotel. Only popped in for a quick drink, and a toilet break. Staff were friendly, but £14.20 for a pint of lager + a gin and lemonade. Had our eyes out. Wow!!! £7.50 over the road, £9 just down the road. Ridiculous😡😡 Inexcusable for a run down wannabe travelodge🙄

Starting with the positives friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Bottles of water in room , coffee machine and homemade cookies a nice treat. Car parking available, compact and on a first come basis, but free. The location of the hotel is brilliant right in the middle of Beverley. The bedrooms / bathrooms in desperate need of love and paint work. Furniture shabby and a real mixture of styles. Windows difficult to open, fans available, room was very warm. Greeted by the ear plugs next to bed and told the room could get noisy if the window is open and the market is setting up. To be fair the market setting up did not cause any disruption, more noise from the kings Head up to closing time and the surrounding bars. No additional bedroom door lock. Very disappointing room for the price of £168 per night. If I go back to Beverley I would choose a different hotel.

We had booked for a hen do bottomless brunch . We were looked after by Emily - what a fab waitress she looked after us very well - very attentive and had a good sense of humour and really made the afternoon go well . The drinks kept coming!Thanks Emily .

Fantastic location and the room was a good size. Loved the coffee and there were tasty complementary chocolate chip cookies. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They were flexible regarding my early morning departure, printing off my invoice in advance. Recommend this hotel

We had a very pleasant one night stay. The King's Head is in a great location for exploring a lovely Yorkshire town. Having free parking was a big bonus. The room was very comfortable, and the evening meal was delicious. We would stay there agsin.

Service by Mandy and Lottie excellent service very friendly and courteous with a superior professional attitude great food and drinks friendly atmosphere easy to park and will definitely visit again next time I’m in Beverley had a great tume

Hotel lovely and clean would have gave it a 5 but unfortunately the fan in our bathroom was really noisy Breakfast was nice bit pricy but very nice service from all staff was excellent. Location great with parking We had a great night out round the pubs everyone was very friendly
