Location is a 4 minute walk from the train station and a 6 minute walk from Lidl. The receptionists are hardworking, friendly and efficient, whilst the property itself has a communal kitchen to offer guests and inside storage for bicycles. There is naturally a bar and coffee available too, to buy. There is a decent sized common area for working and socialising alongside a pool table and 48 player table football. Lots of books can be found around too. I would recommend 100% as the rooms were spacious and clean with complimentary shower gel. Good value overall.

Portable fans available at the reception, a very sensible approach to guest comfort. Extra points.
But far many points off for the shabbiness of the guest rooms, the common areas. I can not tell dirt that won't shift from dirt that no one has tried to shift, and to stay in a place that seems dirty is as unhappy an experience as to stay in one that truly is dirty : Both make for a dreary evening and morning. And . . . every time I stay -- a visit every few weeks ! -- the place appears worse run-down. Depressing. How much does Domestos cost, after all ? Maybe fresh paint is out of the question, but . . . neaten up the picked-away edges of the signage ? To do so wouldn't break A&O.

A tip of the hat to "Markus", desk clerk, who brought my room key up from the Empfang almost before I realised that I had left it there --
a two thumbs down to the decisions not to put either a rubbish bin in the room (only in the bathroom) and not to put a drinking cup, a paper one would have done ! , in the bathroom

The biggest advantage of the family room we booked is that it is located just one stop away from the Central Railway Station and is very convenient. It only takes ten minutes to get there! Breakfast is also okay, overall it’s okay and I will book it next time!
