The spa does not have hot water (35 degrees). It is quite small. The room was nice.

Wonderful weekend with the Girls
Perfect place to switch off.
The food was excellent, not a huge menu to choose from but there was something for everyone.
Prices seemed high at first glance, but I can assure you that you definitely get what you pay for. really good.
The homemade sourdough bread!!!! amazing, would return just for that. (honestly it is something else)
The staff really make this place wonderful. Very attentive and friendly. The room was really nice, really clean and comfortable. The SPA, this was really wonderful, the treatments were exceptional, and the facilities were amazing. Location was great, we walked into Ambleside on the opposite side of the lake and caught the bus back (559) to the hotel after some shopping and a shandy.

The staff were superb and really made us feel welcome. The food was delicious and expertly prepared. The only blemishes were a table in our room that was damaged and should have been replaced plus there was a little mould on the shower sealant. Overall, an excellent hotel and we will definitely stay there again.
