Homewood Suites by Hilton Dallas-DFW Airport N-Grapevine

If you like smelling like curry and tasting it when you open your mouth, this is where you want to be. Also if you want to listen to the roaring of a room air conditioning unit on full blast and have your widow not fully closed to allow the vent to stick out, this is definitely the place for you. In terms of cleanliness and service it was good, but the smell and janky units will be a hard pass for me in the future.

We specifically booked this hotel for a separate bedroom from the living room. The hotel was NOT like any of the pictures. Til seems like an OLD hotel.

Out of the ordinary We checked in at approx. 8 pm on Friday the 30th. The following morning we rec’d a call from the front desk that we had checked out @ 8:55 and housekeeping was not able to enter the room. I did tell her that we were resv’d thru the 3rd. She asked me if I was ? To which I replied no. She asked that we exchange the card keys and obtain new ones. We did and found out we did not even show that we had checked in. The hair conditioner bottle fell off the shower wall on my foot (no injury) and the water leaked onto the floor saturating the mat. We used extra towel to soak up the water so as not to slip. We expected the room to be serviced on Saturday but was not. On Sunday I asked the housekeeper if she would leave two bath mats instead of one. She left three but no bath towels. Front desk brought up towels. Maintenance did fix the conditioner bottle. The bed was very comfortable. On the whole, the stay was good. The breakfast was well stocked and the staff was friendly and attentive.

We did not receive a room key for the whole stay and someone entered our locked room with 4 13 year old girls eating in the living room.

It was good space and family friendly. However you can tell it was a weekly suite before so the remodel was “patchy”
