Grange Manor

After a challenging few months, both personally and professionally, my husband and I desperately needed a peaceful getaway. We decided on a last-minute trip and chose Grange Manor. Although we’ve visited the Lake District numerous times, this was our first stay at Grange Manor, and it certainly won’t be our last. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease. The rooms are beautifully designed, offering everything we could possibly need, and the hot tub was an added treat. The entire property exudes tranquility and serenity, making it the perfect place to unwind. The town is just a short 10-minute walk away, and we enjoyed a lovely stroll along the promenade followed by drinks around the town. The breakfast at the hotel was exceptional, and the convenience of having it delivered to our room at a time that suited us felt like a special luxury. The hosts and staff were warm, welcoming, and always eager to help. Our stay was exactly what we needed, and we left feeling refreshed. We will definitely be returning in the future. An absolute gem in Grange over Sands! Amazing rooms, well thought out, beautiful surroundings. We especially loved the experience of having breakfast served in our room (more like a suite) - this is not to be mistaken as room service - think far more luxurious than that! Superbly run - never intrusive, attention to detail far surpassed our high expectations.

Stayed 2 nights in garden room with hot tub. Hosts were welcoming and friendly. Loved the little touch’s like the pillow spray and treats in the room. Breakfast served to the room at your preferred time was really nice. 10 minute walk into town. Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous B&B. Stayed for 2 nights. The room was gorgeous with a large, comfy bed. Roll top bath, walk-in large shower. You have breakfast served in your room, which was great. Really good produce. The room has wine and champagne flutes and a good-sized fridge for wine. Coffee machine and fresh milk. The garden room has a hot tub, which was amazing. Towels provided and plastic flutes to sip champagne. Would say this is one of the best places I've stayed at. Thoroughly recommend. Would definitely go back.

I booked for my partners 40th as something a bit more luxurious for a special birthday and Grange Manor did not disappoint. Mark at arrival was extremely helpful and the entire room was just wall to wall luxury from the huge bedroom & bathroom to the private hot tub outside. We were offered restaurant recommendations (we ate at Thyme Out, which was amazing) and the 2 course breakfast in the morning, served in your room at a time to suit, was both delicious and filling. Would not be able to recommend Grange Manor any more if I tried

Stayed here this weekend in the deluxe room with hot tub. Hot tub was set just outside the room and we were provided with robes, slippers and extra towels. Pre- ordered breakfast which had a great selection and was delivered to the room at an allocated time. The room itself was beautiful, spacious, clean and comfortable, with a large bathroom containing both a shower and freestanding bathtub. Coffee, water and milk was provided along with a mini fridge too. Within walking distance to a little village with shops and restaurants. Highly recommended and hope to return in the future.
