Have been to zimbalis on every trip I take to Negril without fail. Mark and Alicia are amazing hosts who greet you at the door and will remember you next time. The property, ambiance and of course the food are something to experience. Food us delicious, nutritious and , for me, educational as I learned how to eat better. Highly recommend as a must do in West Jamaica

Always a pleasure. I'm not sure how many times I've visited Zimbali, but there's a good reason I always go back. Well, many reasons: it's authentic. There's an on-site chef serving up organic, real deal Jamaican, farm to table goodness. It's quiet, and has an intimate "you're home" vibe... and my absolute favorite pool anywhere. This is THE place you always wanted to build and run away to. You should- and you can. :-)

Zimbali is a hidden gem that everyone should experience in Jamaica. The location is a zen place with a feeling of community and family. Chef Alicia and her team prepare delicious farm to plate 5 star dining. Can’t wait to go back and stay at Zimbali again. Best sleep ever.

We arrived about 20 min early and were greeted right away. Everyone was friendly and the place is beautiful. We chose our main course and waited for the others to arrive. I ordered a beer from the bar while waiting. The red stripe was piss warm. We proceeded to take the farm tour which was just okay. At the end of the farm tour the head farmer tried to sell us some ****. I ordered another beer at this point and another guest in our party ordered a champagne both of which were warm. Now we waited to be seated which took quite a while. The salad and apps were served and some of the courses took 20-30 minutes in between. Too long of a wait between the courses caused exactly what you would expect, cold food. My fish sat for 20 min before it was plated. The sauces and taste of the food were good but the temperature was unacceptable. Dessert presentation was nice but tasted like straight alcohol. At this point 9pm my driver had been waiting for us as the meal was supposed to finish at 8. If this is the norm here I don’t understand the great reviews. Our tour driver already said they would never recommend this place again.

We stayed for a week and couldn’t have had a better time. Mark and Alecia and staff made this the most memorable vacation we’ve ever had. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food was delicious and plentiful. If you have a chance this is an escape that will rejuvenate you .

The experience at Zimbali Culinary Retreats was precisely the opportunity I needed to connect with my children while taking time to breathe. We usually go to Jamaica for the beaches and tend to stay right on the beach. This time we opted for ZIMBALI'S CULINARY RETREAT in the mountains with its famous Zimbali Cooking Show. We spent just four nights @Zimbali Resorts. The vibe in this place spoke to our souls. Great food. Beautiful happy people that seem more like long-term friends. It’s a comfortable peaceful environment encouraging relaxation. We were impressed with the attention to details. The hammock on our room’s porch was my favorite spot. No TVs (WiFi is available) ZIMBALI'S CULINARY RETREAT offers the opportunity to disconnect as much or as little as needed. One of the unexpected benefits was the quality of sleep we experienced—undoubtedly the best in months, as verified by my sleep app. My advice: Don’t miss The Culinary Cooking show. The farm fresh food is authentic. It is delicious. The five course meal is uniquely prepared and presented in a way that pleases all senses. We also gained some valuable knowledge of plant based farm to fork eating and the African drummers added a wonderful rhythm to the whole experience. We are already looking forward to future visits. This one checked all the boxes for us.

My husband and I attended the wonderful culinary experience. Not only was the food healthy, delicious, and flavorful, the chef also did a fantastic job of educating us on the benefits of the ingredients. Chef Alecia not only fed my belly, she also fed my mind. Thank you for such a memorable experience.
