My stay at Vermelho Melides was truly memorable. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed by a thoughtful and dedicated team, which contributed to a personalized and warm experience. The stay at Vermelho Melides exceeded expectations. The restaurant offers professional service and truly delicious dishes – the Cuttlefish and Razor Clam Rice and the Curry stood out for their quality and balanced flavors. I especially appreciated the team's care and attention: the receptionist discreetly intervened when a couple with children was making some noise at the pool, and shortly afterward, they even called us to apologize, even though we hadn’t made any complaint. Additionally, they took my electric car to be charged without me even asking – a gesture that shows a rare and far-above-average level of service. Without a doubt, a place where attention to detail makes all the difference.

We recently stayed 3 nights at the luxurious Vermelho hotel in the quiet town of Melides. Our immaculate and comfortable room featured a private balcony with garden views and you could enjoy your evening tea there (delivered during turn down service)- just one of the many thoughtful touches in this hotel. The staff were warm and welcoming and very helpful with local information and made us a lunch reservation at the JNCQUOI Beach Club. We ate dinner in the restaurant twice and it was delicious. A 10 minute drive away there is the stunning beach area of Lagos Santo Andre. The hotel thoughtfully provides sun hats, beach bag and towels to take with you to the beach. This hotel is in a class by itself with its unique and original interior design, kind staff and great restaurant. We can’t wait to return!

The hotel is exceptional in every way. From the delicious presented food to the comfortable rooms, every detail is thoughtfully taken care of. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the incredible nice staff, working day and night.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness by the incredibly friendly and attentive team. The atmosphere was not only inviting but also filled with genuine hospitality, making us feel right at home. The rooms were simply stunning—elegantly designed, spacious, and meticulously clean, offering both comfort and style. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged to ensure a truly relaxing experience. Truly a great experience. The hotel room is so unique and attend to details. The food is outstanding. The service is second to none. Everyone we interacted showed great friendliness and professionalism. This is the place you should absolutely stay if you are in the area.

The hotel is gorgeous and everyone who works at the hotel is wonderful from the people who welcome you, the lovely servers at meals and the fabulous bar tender. The entire hotel is so special with gorgeous vistas and amazing artwork. The rooms are very pretty and perfectly clean. Sadly we only had two nights here. I left wishing I had taken many more pictures of all the gorgeous tiles, flowers, beautiful art everywhere.

We stayed here for two nights last week at the start of a few days in Portugal looking at various places we might retire to. We should have done this hotel as our last stay as everywhere else was a disappointment after this! The room was fantastic (even the room snacks were locally made) and the staff were so caring. Very peaceful and relaxing.
