Mt. Plaisir Estate Hotel

This was my second stay since the hotel reopened. It’s like an oasis at the end of a long drive. I’ll definitely be back. I’ve been there both during turtle season and during the offseason. The ambiance and the hospitality is amazing. It’s all inclusive and the food is great. Let’s not forget the Leatherback Turtle experience. My wife and I love the high level of maintenance and great staff. A definite gem.

From check-in to departure, our stay was enjoyable and rewarding. The staff was friendly and accommodating, arranging another room when one of our group wanted to switch and taking precautions with several food allergies. The rooms were luxurious with premium toiletries and comfy beds. Our highlight was, of course, witnessing the wonders of nature with numerous leatherback turtles in various stages: coming onto the beach, digging their nests and laying eggs. The real bonus was our guide coming to our rooms to call us to witness the hatchlings coming out and entering the water. This place is a must see, and we intend to come back. Amazing place, great service, leatherback safaries simply superb! The staff made us feel so pamper, we lived it! The driver Steven is so nice, careful and kind. Akim showed us many wildlife, great attitude. Thank you all for making it a memorable vacations!

It was a wonderful experience. All the staff were helpful and courteous. The meals were delicious. The surroundings were clean and modern. The children and adults had a fabulous time. Thank you for making our stay a memorable one. I will definitely recommend a stay there.

Amazing from start to finish Food, service, ambience, amenities, comfort, safety. 10/10 would recommend and I’ll be back Friendly doggies on the beach along with friendly locals. General Manager, also made sure our time there was everything we hoped for. We took a tour to see how coco is grown and harvested and made into chocolate locally. Guides are very knowledgeable about the entire process and we learned a lot.
