Check in was easy. The staff was nice. The jets in the hot tub were filthy! You are a little more than a mile walk to museums, which is a little far if you have kids.

One elevator was out of service. Was placed on the 7th floor. Getting up and down took a minimum of 15 minutes. Stayed Thurs to Sun with no efforts to fix the other elevator. Key card never worked to scan out of the in/out access garage. Room smelled like burnt coffee beans each morning. Bed was uncomfortable and lumpy. Iron did not get hot and needed to swap at front desk.

Great stay but city had water issues ( no fault of hotel) and we were required to use bottled water for drinking. Hotel supplied all the bottled water we needed for free. I recommend this hotel.

The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were nicely updated. The entire hotel could use a good vacuum along with a wipe down of surface areas(walls, counters, everything). Pool was very nice and big. Breakfast was good. Friendly staff.

Great place to stay at, the staff helped me plan a surprise birthday in our room and played it off perfectly!!!!
my only complaint would be the hot tub. There was so much scummy foam in the hot tub while the jets were on it was really off putting. We will definitely be back so, hope the hot tub isn’t like that on my next stay.

Close to downtown Grand Rapids and very close to hospital. Close to a few restaurants, coffee shop neighborhood bars. Newer hotel with parking clean quiet and nice breakfast. We’ve stayed a few times and will keep going back when we visit family.
