Very disappointed by Marie Galante's visit with El Rancho. Dirty bus, with stops for uninteresting visits, we were taken to places to buy local products instead of showing us beautiful landscapes (except 1 stop in an old sugar factory). Few explanations about the island; deplorable meal: I ate a small lobster in a plastic tray, unlimited wine (2 bottles for 16 people), melted ice cream. It's a scam, beware, choose another way if you want to discover the island. However, I had opted for this type of visit to La Désirade and Les Saintes without being cheated.

The manager is not at all friendly and does not provide the service we expect. No kindness on his part. Catering on its premises and NOT on the beach (which was planned). She is only interested in profit. We were welcomed by a maxi bus for 4 from St Louis to Grand Bourg, this one being dilapidated. As a result, we saw the premises which are dilapidated and unsanitary. We toured the island very quickly and without stopping at the “mouth of the great chasm” which is supposedly not accessible. The tour was pleasant. We lost 1h30 at the start waiting for other people, it's a shame that made us chase and we arrived a little late for the pancakes to be cooked. We only had the explanations. Canot Beach is very beautiful but many groups meet here. 20€ more for the lobster is a bit high, but it was still very good. The guide and driver Guy was very attentive whether on the road (incredibly careful) or stopping at places on the road to take photos. Good explanations and some jokes.

A little disappointed, we had already had a great experience with El rancho a few years ago But today it is no longer the same, the “guide” is in fact only a driver and does not accompany us during the visit . We took a day trip to El Rancho to visit the island, we were very poorly received by the manager, no smile and no friendliness, we had to wait 30 minutes to get a means of transportation, visited the island at a run, we had to eat on the beach and to our great surprise we ate in its unsanitary and dirty restaurant, and again at a run 3pmn to the beach we got back and dropped off at the pier a hour before the boat arrives and without saying goodbye, I do not recommend this service provider

Our guide Gérald was great! Very kind, welcoming and explaining the story of Marie Galante very well!! However, a downside regarding the lunch meal, the accras were only made of flour (no garnishes), and the main dishes (fish for me, chicken for my partner) were overcooked... The chicken contained more bones what meat! Small industrial ice cream for dessert. Fortunately Gérald was there, we owe such a good rating to him :)
