Great hotel but be careful, hotel parking is very expensive €19

I read very good reviews and despite being a 2 star hotel, the photos showed a pretty good hotel. To start with, the check-in and breakfast are in the building opposite, something I have never seen before. The reception man was very friendly, though. When we left, he helped us bring our suitcases down the stairs. There is no lift. The room, in my case, was a double room with two beds, decent and nicely decorated. It has recently been renovated. It is very well soundproofed as Recogidas Street is very busy with cars and people. This is appreciated. The hotel lobby is a huge space, very nicely decorated but useless. They could put out a snack, some books, I don't know, something. It doesn't invite you to sit down or do anything. Now my main complaint is about the bathroom. A bathroom where I, being short, couldn't even move. It's tiny!! And frankly, paying more than €150 per night, for a weekend during the long weekend, when it normally costs €50... seems to me something that should be regulated. No elevator, no cafeteria, with that bathroom… I paid €414 for two nights and since I am a GENIUS at Booking, I got a 10% discount. The gentleman's kindness does not compensate for the embezzlement. I paid a luxury price for a hostel service, not even a hotel one. That said, the soap in the bathroom and shower is RITUALS. A bit shocking. Sorry, but that is my experience. Greetings.

Nice hotel, close to the center. Room with adequate space, clean and with the necessary comforts. Surprisingly we also found the bidet. Air conditioning worked, large and comfortable beds. Average breakfast, large croissants, good coffee.

para mim o único ponto positivo desse hotel é a localização. a recepção é de um lado e os quartos são do outro lado da rua, é confuso! além disso, o quarto tinha um cheiro horrivel, aquecedor não funcionava deixando o quarto extremamente gelado durante toda à noite e a acústica era mt ruim, dava pra ouvir todos os barulhos da rua e do quarto do lado...

Está muy céntrico, lo que está muy bien es aue tienen su vado en cada banda de la calle, enfrente del Hotel Universal y del Hotel Presidente que es en definitiva el mismo Hotel.. para que puedas dejar el equipaje en la habitación. Debes dar la matrícula de tu vehículo para que no te sancionen al circular por esa calle que está permitida únicamente si vas a hospedarte en alguno de los Hoteles de la calle Recogidas, dando la matrícula en el check-in/llegada. Hablando de la habitación en sí.., en la cama no había sábanas bajeras y le venía un poquito justa la sábana que usaban de bajera. En la bañera se salía todo el agua porque se escapaba por todos los lados. En la habitación había televisión por suerte y finalmente se oía a todo el que pasara por los pasillos y abriera/cerrara puertas. Recomendaciones para llegar al Hotel: Dejar el coche en el vado para dejar el equipaje, no pagar el parking suyo de pago porque es carísimo, dejar el coche lejos del Hotel (20 minutos caminando o más) por dónde está el Mercadona. Coger un autobús que te deja a 2 o 3 minutos caminando hasta la puerta del Hotel. Finalmente.., no he logrado ver las habitaciones del Hotel Universal pero seguramente que hubieran estado mejor aue las del Presidente. El Hotel está a 15 minutos o menos del centro dónde están todos los Bares de tapas (Bar la Riviera y Bar Los Diamantes)
