H10 Costa Mogán - Adults Only

We booked this hotel as we had been to the Rubicon Palace H10 hotel in Lanzarote, and were very impressed. We were not disappointed with chosing H10 here in Gran Canaria. Beautiful, clean hotel, with very friendly, helpful staff. Very large, well equipped and spotless. ALL the staff were friendly and helpful, always with a smile. Entertainment was well thought out and varied, the entertainment team, like a lot of the staff, switching from one language to another, with ease. Food was lovely, different style each day (we were half board so snacks and drinks to pay for) As a vegetarian it would have been helpful to have dishes labeled as such, did ask on several occasions to point out what foods were vegetarian, but didn't like to keep asking (and on one dish was told no meat or fish in it, but on looking closer, there was tuna in it) An idea would be to have all the mini pre prepared salads as veggie or vegan, with a side dish of meat or fish to add if you ate these too, just a thought. But I had lots of beautifully prepared, tasty vegetables, so ate very healthily during stay. Our room was to the side of the hotel, we could just see the sea, and was lovely to have the balcony doors open and hear the waves.

Wanted to spend a holiday in a nice all inclusive hotel with my husband. As soon as we arrived, staff was very welcoming and friendly. We got our room right away and it were located in 4th floor. Room was really nice: fresh, spacious and we got thrilled about that small "walk in closet" that the room had. All inclusive included all drinks and meals. We liked the food very much. There was multiply options everyday and the food was delicious. Staff in restaurants and in bars was friendly and helpful. Riviera Beachclub was place to be ! We loved the consept. As an adult childfree couple, we really enjoyd the fact that there wasn't kids in the hotel. My husband loved the daily activities - animation guys was fantastic !! Thank you so much, we really enjoyed !

Excellent week in sun. Hotel is excellent. Stunning views. Animation team one of the best I have experienced. Staff in reception were really good and helpful. Staff in the bars and restaurants were superb. Easy access to puerto mogan and Puerto Rico. Bus is very cheap and regular. Taxi costs 17 euro. I would highly recommend.

This a new hotel for H10 and lives up to its usual high standards. Our room was kept beautifully clean - as is the hotel itself. The buffet was good with plenty of variety- though vegetables were sometimes cold. The staff in general were courteous, helpful and friendly. Particular thanks to Mr Alberto who looked after me when I needed medical help. He was so efficient and reassuring. Jenni at reception gave us lots of useful local information including about where to find a hairdresser and a massage therapist. Ina and Juan Carlos were also most helpful. There aren’t many shops or facilities around so local knowledge was really valuable. Loved the saxophonist and violinist in the restaurant! I couldn’t join in the entertainment activities but there were plenty - Pilates and exercising in the pool looked great fun.

We're still here, leaving tomorrow sadly. Overall this is a great hotel. The staff are excellent, work really hard. The hotel is spotless. Pool area lovely, but misleading in pics...half the hotel has been sold off for apartments, so the pool area is smaller than pics show. Misleading advertising. The pics you see with the gorgeous sunbeds, small pool...you have to pay €35 A DAY to use that special area. No thanks. Saying that we never had an issue getting sunbeds at the regular pool ( no crazy rush in the mornings). Water was cold but it is Jan! Our room was fantastic, big, clean, comfy, fabulous shower, small balcony. One downside was that the room was directly over the lounge bar so was noisy...but by 11pm/midnight ceased. We considered asking for a move but couldn't be bothered to repack/unpack. It wasn't bad enough tbh. Drinks were great, wine and beer on tap, cocktails good. One issue was there was only 1 barman on in the eve and this led to queues ....needed at least 2. Location...quiet which suited us. But we walked to Peurto Rico ( took half hr) and got the bus to Peurto Mogan ( took 12 mins or so) which was stunning. Our beach is kinda wild, but next bay along was calmer seas. Amadores was beautiful....can walk there in 20 mins. So with a bit of effort you can find some absolutely lovely places. Biggest downside...the food. Was tasty, lots of choice...but rarely hot enough. This put us off risking any sort of seafood. When there were cold Prawns on offer at the salad bar they weren't on any sort of cold plate....so we steered clear altogether. The weather was gorgeous...24° every day and not a cloud in the sky. Evening entertainment was good and bad tbh...a real mixture. Overall...we would defo come back. ...was so nice to get a break from freezing England!

The best hotel I've been to. Staff were friendly and helpful. The animation guys were absolutely brilliant. Would recommend this hotel for adults wanting a relaxing friendly holiday. The pool was warm rooms spacious and comfortable. The food was first class. Christmas and New Year exceptional.
