Hotel Gran Canaria Princess - Adults Only

From the late check in to checking out 2 weeks later I can only say- I was incredibly impressed by the quality, standard, food, drink selection , friendliness of majority of staff ( few exceptions and you would know straight away) Totally inclusive of race, creed, sexuality 5* The evening entertainment on the whole was first class. Again the odd ‘random’ act. But even then still entertaining for wrong reasons. We had planned to go out more, but there was no reason as we wound down and enjoyed the whole hotels ambience. We went all inclusive and didn’t regret it. We will be back…. If they’ll have us.

Lovely hotel, really clean, lovely food, lots of choice. Nice cocktails. Nice pool, never an issue getting a sunbed. The only downside- the water pressure in the shower was awful & the a/c was quite noisy. Tip- apparently if you upgrade to all inclusive when you get there, it’s a lot cheaper than booking it online.

We had the best time at the hotel no issues at all the staff were brilliant, I emailed the hotel a fews days before to ask them if they could arrange a birthday cake for my husband due to him being 40 and they went above and beyond for us even wrote him a letter wishing him a happy birthday which was nice of them.

Fantastic stay from start to finish! A beautiful hotel in a great location - a 15-20 minute walk to the Yumbo centre (full of great bars and shops) or beach (both a 5 minute drive for less than €4). We paid for the all inclusive plus bands at time of booking package - the fresh cocktails alone were worth it! Worked out about £10 a day each which we would have spent of drinks anyway. If you don’t get these bands the cocktails come from a dispenser and are incredibly sweet! All staff were helpful and friendly, but not overbearing. It’s a big hotel with many to cater for but they are there when you need them. Food was great! Not sure what all the moaning is about. We stayed a week and were able to have something different everyday but perhaps because we didn’t have a bit of everything everyday! Breakfast provided waffles, pancakes, cereals, traditional fry-up, pastries, fresh fruits, cheese and meats, yoghurts etc. Lunches and dinners had a range of salads, breads, cheeses, pasta, fish, meats, soup, curry, potato’s, vegetables, rices etc. There were also two themed evenings - Mexican (with tacos and a cheese nacho fountain!) and Asian (with curries, sushi, rice dishes etc). Food was lovely and an absolute highlight for us! Rooms, public areas and pools all beautifully clean. Cleaning staff worked hard and were very friendly too. Most importantly: The animation team were AMAZING! Kendra, Selina and Alfredo are a credit to the hotel and work hard day and night to provide entertainment and fun for all who want to participate (there’s no pressure!) We loved taking part in the archery, darts, riffle shooting etc and met lovely other couples at these activities who we also explored the karaoke and drag bars with in the Yumbo. Yes the lifts are a bit annoying but we were on vacation and weren’t in a rush to get anywhere - a little wait didn’t ruin our holiday! Additionally, people do reserve subbed from early as happens everywhere. If you can’t beat em, join em! All in all a fantastic break for us and would definitely return in the future!

Amazing hotel! Great atmosphere, clean and comfy rooms. Friendly staff throughout. Great choices and different foods at all inclusive buffet. Plenty daily activities for around the pool. There is one lifeguard who isn’t overly friendly and seems to favour the Spanish people over British. But all in all amazing hotel! I will be back!

Well where do I start with this hotel other than absolutely fabulous. Myself and my husband stayed for one week and have just arrived home. We never have all inclusive but decided to try and I'm glad I did it was brilliant and well worth the money The self serve was a brilliant idea for us who don't drink alcohol,the selection was fab and water on tap was brilliant. Hotel,staff,food ( fresh grilled meats,fish and plenty of salads etc)plenty of and fresh and well presented. Pool area swimming pool and loungers were all fab,loved it. We walked to beach which I would say it was a 20 minute walk and a lot of steps to walk down, this made no diffrence to use as we stayed by pool and hotel.the hotel has many sitting areas for lounging around. For us we had a fabulous time from start to finish,room fabulous 429 on fourth floor,maids very pleasant and work extremely hard keeping us all comfy, bed,shower,bathroom,verander all fabulous. I have one little moan is smoking when people smoke on the balcony us non smokers are secondary to the smoke which is horrible, it would be nice to separate smokers and non smokers as this do annoy me,I know this is hard work to do but that is my only improvement. Thank you for a fabulous stay and we will be back.

We loved this hotel, we were all inclusive and we felt that we got value for money. Drinks & food were plentiful and delicious. Nightly entertainment was good, a fun watch while having a couple of cocktails after dinner! There was a sun bed dash every morning but it was July & hotel was full & I guess it is the same in every busy hotel in July ! It was our 2nd time in an adults only hotel (over 16s) & I’ll never go back, there was a real chilled vibe around the pool & hotel in general although the Lifeguard was a bit serious, he gave out to 2 different couples who had beach balls in the pool on different days. I would definitely recommend this hotel & area. Amazing holiday Location was amazing, we walked to the beach bars a couple of nights & to Mulligans Irish pub. There was a grocery shop a couple of doors down if you fancy sweets or snacks.

We stayed at Gran Canaria Princess in August 2023 for 10 nights. Our overall stay was good and we both had a lovely holiday. Upon arrival check in was quick and easy. We booked All Inclusive expecting to get everything for free. But soon found out that cocktails were only from a machine and you didn't get access to all ice cream. For extra you could pay for proper cocktails to be made separately at the bar. The pool opened at 10am, but if you wanted a decent sun lounger near the pool, you'd have to be there from 8:30am. Other than that hotel grounds are lovely and the spa on site is definitely worthwhile!

Everything from start to finish was amazing. The hotel was spotless, the rooms were amazing. All the staff were outstanding. The pool area was excellent. Then the food… that’s was top class every day. We’ve just got back from 8 days and are already looking at booking for October… outstanding.. also excellent location for beach and shops. ☀️☀️
