Everything about this place has been amazing. We have able to see so many animals very close up as the rangers are so good at spotting them. Of course it's much smaller than the national parks, but that means you do get more chance to see everything. The lodge is really lovely with everything you could want. If it's not there, just ask. Really recommend this trip.

To put our feelings about this magical place into 200 characters is impossible…. From the minute we arrived we were treated like royalty.. Hannes and his staff are the loveliest people and made us feel so special… our room was huge with a gorgeous bathroom and terrace with its own plunge pool overlooking the lake… the food was absolutely incredible and non stop! Cleo, our ranger is like the African Crocodile Dundee! His knowledge and ability to spot things miles into the distance meant we saw the big 5 as well as cheetahs.. zebras… giraffes.. hippos… the list is endless… we were so blessed and grateful to have experienced all of this in just 3 days… I cannot recommend Pumba enough, we have taken away memories that will last a lifetime

Family stay with 2 kids 15 and 11 we were made to feel welcome by all staff , accommodation was idlic, and the food was amazing including food for myself (veggie) special mention to Zuks our ranger who’s knowledge and kindness was second to none, his interaction with us and the couple with us was excellent and he now as a new fan my daughter who he could not of done more for , the sites seen on the drive exceeded our expectations the views were amazing and we saw a variety of animals either from a far or close up in many instances. All rangers were respectful to the animals environment respecting their need for privacy. The drives had an exclusive feel to them with NO overcrowding of the animals at anytime. I would highly recommend and would love to visit again in the future. Thanks for a memorable stay.

This place exceeded all expectations. Accomodation, staff, food, the main lodge, the view (we were in the water lodge) were all first class. The game drives and safari experience were the highlight of our 3 week visit to SA. We were extremely lucky with the safaris, seeing a day old baby elephant and the entire herd, lion cubs/lionesses taking down a zebra, the alpha male intervening.... Plenty of bird life too with a Giant Kingfisher being a frequent visitor. Our Ranger (Phillip) was perfect - knowledgable & experienced.

We had such a lovely stay at Pumba, the whole experience from the time we arrived was excellent. The staff were very attentive and caring, the food was lovely and lots of it! They catered for my husbands dietary needs excellently without any trouble, going above and beyond. Nothing was too much trouble, every little detail had been thought about, and our Ranger Cameron was brilliant, very knowledgeable and really cared for the animals. A five star experience.

Wow, what a wonderful experience. Denise, our Ranger/ Guide on safari drives was so knowledgeable, passionate and fun to be with, she was The Best. The lodges were the height of luxury, and all the staff went beyond the call of duty. I cannot recommend Pumba highly enough. The food, activities available, comfort, and all the staff contributed to making our stay so memorable.
