Travelled into town not sure what to expect after many years away but was not disappointed with our stay here at the Abbey prior to covid. Central to everything with a short, easy flat walk across to the shopping world, the main Grafton CBD or to stroll along wide leafy streets with river views. Rooms were very clean, comfortable and quite modern in appearance which was also a pleasant surprise. Reception was helpful, easy to access on ground level and just a quick few steps away if we needed anything. Comfort ensured we settled in. Check out next day was no hassles with all modern facilities included. Rooms for singles, couples amd families offered with a range of eateries and restaurants within walking distance along with othwr siteseeing.

We spent one night at this motel last week. From our first contact with staff to arrange a booking, to check in and out, we were very impressed by the warm and friendly assistance received. On arrival, we found a smallish room with the level of facilities expected for a 3 star motel. What really stood out, however, was the amazing cleanliness of the room and linens. For a lower cost motel, this was really outstanding. The only downside was bed size, just a double. Otherwise, we were more than happy at the Civic Motel and will happily stay again.

The motel booked on the temporary road, the staff is very warm with Chinese. The room decoration is old, and the temporary night is not a big problem. Not far from the high speed is more convenient to hurry, the price is OK

What a Grafton gem! The Glenwood management team were tremendous. Very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a grassy powered site, close to the pool over the Christmas/New Year period. Great sized sites that were very well maintained. A quiet and peaceful location away from the main part of town. Very central to the beautiful North Coast beaches. A great base for our day trips. Facilities were very good. Showers and toilets were always clean and in working order. Amazing water pressure! Great camp kitchen. Awesome BBQ and plenty of pots, pans and utensils. Picnic tables were scattered around the park for use by campers. Smooth, safe roads for the kids to ride their bikes. Pool area was great with lots of seating. There is a large lap pool plus a smaller kids pool both clean and with plenty of shade. Thanks again for a lovely stay.
