Castello di Granarola Relais - Adults Friendly - Reviews

I visited this property for the past four years. It is just magical. Beautifully renovated and well appointed and comfortable. Just a pleasure to stay and worth the 15-minute drive away from the motorway. Michelle at the front desk, has always been welcoming, friendly and helpful. The restaurants in the nearby village of Granada are fantastic.

Fantastic place with spacious rooms, incredible views, superb service and good food. We will return. You can have breakfast outdoors by the pool and enjoy looking out over the hills and to the sea. The rooms are very large.

We stayed 6 nights at this well-hidden magical place at the end of August. It is almost unthinkable how sophisticated and carefully but still effortlessly designed this Castellino is. The rooms are all unique, large and featured with all amenities (kitchen included) which makes your stay comfortable. The pool - with a breathtaking view of the Adriatic and the medieval Castello Gradara - is the center of Life here - and deservedly so: you start your day with a pool-side breakfast, continue with nicely prepared cocktails consumed on the sunbeds and of course indulging in the sun-heated pool itself. After having a short break in your nicely cooled room and dressed up smart-casual you can enjoy a delicious dinner cooked by Chef Andrea at one of the pool-side tables following the setting sun above the Sea. If you are curious enough, you can discover the secrets of the magical garden with its many hidden places. If you are lucky and spend a Thursday here you can attend the weekly Sundown party at the fabulous terraced garden just below the pool - the setting is something you can not imagine until you see it for yourself. You`ll not be bored even if the weather does not favour sunbathing - you can discover the beauties and historical places (like Urbino, Gradara )of both the Marche and Emilia-Romagna - or even San Marino - all in 40 kms distance) If you long to dive into the Sea there are many beaches nearby (eg Gabbice Mare), althoug those can be crowded during Summer peak. For shopping the best place is Pesaro (centro historico - only 15 min drive from the Castellino) with it`s many local designer shops and high fashion brand stores. For beach bags and accessories do not miss the Brandina brand store right in Piazzale Poppolo. Nothing is easier than dining out in one fo the many very good and very affordable restaurants - all within 5 min drive. The nearest one (Il Melograno with its heavenly home-made pastas) is literally at your doorstep. Finally I can`t miss out to mention the super-friendly and ever helpful hotel staff to whom we owe a big Thanks for not only making our stay wonderfully easy-going but making us always smiling. We just can not wait to return next Summer:)

We stayed at Castello di Granarola for a week, an unforgivable week. If you’re looking for a place to relax and stay in contact with the nature this is the right place for you. The landscape that you can see from up there is unique and the staff is super qualified and helpful. Due to my health I was unable to enjoy my stay to the fullest but thanks to the staff I managed to stay fit for the last few days. I strongly recommend this magic place!

Recently spent a weeks holiday with my son, daughter in law and grandson in the Artist’s Tower. Lovely setting and views and enjoyed our holiday. However, there were several points which I raised in an email addressed to the owner. Unfortunately, I have not received any response to my private feed back, hence my review. The grounds are not as pretty or kept to the standard shown on the website. No white drapes on the rusty swing seat and garden area looks unkept. There was no plug for the bath even though we repeatedly requested one. Perhaps this was not provided due to the condition of the bath. There is an overhead shower and circular curtain but trying to use the controls without water running down the back of the bath is impossible. We repeatedly reported that the toilet cistern kept running resulting in a waste of precious water.There were some tea bags (the only welcome items) but no coffee capsules and difficult to find which ones fitted the machine. Everything else in the fridge was chargeable including a bottle of chilled water. There is a dishwasher but don’t think there would have been enough crockery to fill it. The layout is not really suitable for the numbers it is advertised for. When the sofa bed in the lounge/dining/kitchen is open it leaves little room for a family of 4/5 and the mezzanine floor has a very large/wide floor beam which you have to clamber over to reach the bed. Added to the restricted headroom/beams makes having to use the bathroom downstairs during the night (or anytime) quite a challenge The staircase is not suitable for little ones .There is no hanging or storage facility at all on that level. No designated outside area with this accommodation although there was for others. Just a pity the owner didn’t respond directly and take on board the comments or at least acknowledged them.

It is a one a kind place Completely restored castle in the top of a hill. The views are magnificent. Great service with the minimum basics. The different suites are one of a kind. We didn’t had the breakfast but in the room there is a coffee machine.

were driving from puglia to milan and we stopped for the night. a lovely room, with an upgrade ...still not high season but nice gesture. lovely view. and the breakfast was simply spectacular. will be back!

Siamo rimasti piacevolmente stupiti da questa location arredata davvero con gusto. Sia gli interni, che lo spazio esterno sono molto belli. Siamo stati in inverno ma vogliamo tornare in estate che sarà sicuramente più bello. Molto buona anche la colazione.

Buongiorno.Sono stata a settembre ,la camera senza TV, materasso scomodo. Secondo me la piscina troppo piccola per tutte le camere che ci sono e la colazione senza buffet che devi aspettare tanto per essere servito. Delusione . Da rivalutare

Abbiamo passato una giornata molto gradevole e rilassante. Lo staff super disponibile e attento, il luogo curato e con una bellissima vista 👌🏻 Abbiamo fatto un bellissimo aperitivo con tantissime cose da mangiare e 2 bottiglie di vino per 4 persone. Unico consiglio predisporrei un’opzione vegana più consistente.

L'esperienza al Castello di Granarola per un addio al nubilato è stata veramente eccezionale. Siamo state ascoltate e consigliate per avere la migliore esperienza possibile con il budget da noi previsto. Ci siamo sentite accolte e coccolate da Leontine e da tutto il team. A fare da contorno, poi, una location veramente mozzafiato e stanze particolarissime e curate nei minimi dettagli. Consigliatissimo il laboratorio di artigianato con il tornio in mezzo alla natura con vista mare e castello. Meraviglioso! La sera l'atmosfera è magica e molto romantica. Porteremo per sempre questa esperienza nel cuore ♥️

Meraviglioso. Un oasi nel verde. Personale presente e cordiale per tutte le esigenze. Piscina bella, a tratti ombreggiato da bellissime piante. Bar a bordo piscina per ogni necessità. Colazione servita a bordo piscina variegata con bibite e cibi fatti al momento. La nostra stanza era davvero ampia, pulita e aveva tutti i servizi (acqua, te, caffè, accessori bagno). Ci tornerò assolutamente.

Location impareggiabile,arte da ogni parte,il tripudio del buon gusto e dell'armonia. Magia pura. Sojo stata con un'amica e non siamo riuscite a trovare un difetto,dal personale cordiale gentilissimo preparato,Michele ci ha coccolate col.suo estro con sfuziosissime pinse gourmet! La.colazione unica. Da provare ogni parola risulta superflua. Esperienza unica! Bravo Morosini e tutto il suo staff!!!

Sono davvero entusiasta di questo soggiorno. Location d'eccezione con vista e situata nel verde, personale gentile e disponibile, camere pulite e curate. Ho usufruito della piscina riscaldata di notte in piena autonomia. Consigliatissimo.
