Eldar Resort Hotel

We spent in this hotel 10 nights in May, before the high season. The first impression wasn't good as it this the first hotel in Türkiye we had problem to communicate in English. Most of staff speaks or practice speaking Russian what was obvious when we realised that hotel is full of Russian speaking guests. So, if you want to feel comfortable and you want to communicate with staff not only using your hands, learn Turkish or Russian. It doesn't mean noone there speaks English - but you need to find this person. We had a room on 4 floor. The first one had some problems with air condition. They said that someone would come and fix it soon, but we asked of changing the room and we get nicer (the first one had visible signs of use) on the same floor with pool and mountains view. View was perfect! Unfortunately, entertainment program lasts till midnight and is really loud so if you want to sleep early better choose room without the view. Towels were changed every day however, there were days when bathroom was cleaned poorly. You have only one card for room so fridge is unuseful if you don't stay in room. Tv has Turkish, Russian and German channels. WiFi is paid after using 300 Mb. Costs are high enough to buy esim if you can. Food was good. Cold dishes and breakfasts were mainly the same, dinner had some different options. Grill food was really good, bit finishes quickly. Only apples and oranges, no other fruits. A lot of sweets, but not the best (Turkish deserts are delicious, you rather look for it in Kemer). In May there were enough sunbeds at pool and on the beach. Better have wather shoes - beach has stones, and there are stones in the sea. Entertainment was mosty for Russians - Russian music, karaoke etc. Some Turkish music when Turkish guests were in hotel on weekend. During the day music vary. Around the hotel you find some shops and travel agencies. People there speaks Russian, some speaks English. Summing up: not bad hotel if you don't look for luxury, but focusing on Russian guests may be annoying.

Everything was great, 10 days passed like a fairy tale.The hotel is very cool! Everywhere is clean, the staff is friendly, responsive and always ready to help, delicious food, delicious cocktails, a cool evening show that the animators created, there was a lot of activity in the morning. The DJ played great music and you could also order it. The sea is close, the coast is clean. The only problem is very bad internet, we didn’t even understand what we paid for. Special thanks to the animation team, you are amazing, the best in this field. 🇱🇹♥️🇹🇷

Can't believe we have come today to this hotel & there is not even a glass in the room! We have been on a week's tour around Turkey stayed in some lovely hotels that have bottles of water in the room, tea/coffee making facilities as well as glasses in the bathroom, not this hotel!! When I went to reception & asked about water, he said "from the lobby bar" I said "Thank you" as I was walking away he said "it is not free" 😲 Your in a country where you can not drink the water & that is what I got!! I went to the lobby bar, very nice young man gave me a bottle of water, I asked for a glass so my husband can take his medication 'no problem madam' The reception staff require a course in 'Customer Service' Put me right off before I even looked around the hotel!

The rooms are very poor. The big renovation is needed. Only two kinds of local strong alcohol. The wine red or white only. From fruits only apples and plums. The beer like non alcohol… Normal beer only with extra tax.

A one night’s stay as part of an RSD cultural tour. The early impressive appearance was harmed once in the room: one hand towel and two beach towels between us, a wall light was hanging off the wall, the carpet was stained, the hotel information missing from the booklet with a child’s scribble therein and who may have written on the wall; another wall was stained. The bed was two singles pushed together; this is common, but in this case one mattress was much higher than the other, firming a cliff between myself and my wife. The evening meal began at 19.00. We were there at 19.05 but the food was already tepid and the roast potatoes cold. Drinks require extra payment but the cost varies according to who you ask. The first of two white wines was 200 tl, the second 180tl, and the third 20 E - refused! In addition they tried to charge 3E for machine coffee after dinner. Other members of the party, now also frustrated, refused to pay. Part of the problem is that most of the young staff speak no English and can be unpleasant. We would not have stayed here a second night.

Arrived in very early hours of the morning and given a room on block 4, which was a good 10 minute trek away (hubby is disabled) the room was so tiny (4310) you had to climb into bed from the bottom! Unfortunately we stayed again on our return to the area, tried to put us in block 4 again but I refused, they eventually gave us a room in the main building which turned out to be a 2 bedroom suite, but the air con had a terrible leak making it dangerous to walk around. One young man on reception was very very rude when I asked about connecting WiFi, telling me to go away and wait over there (waving his hands) explained no one was behind me and he persisted to “shoo” me away (I admit I got so mad I did swear at him) Very poor choice of food which was cold anyway

This hotel's rating is max 2.5 stars. The majority of guests are Turkish and Russians. Staff has very limited English. Good about hotel is the beach. Sea is nice. Enough sunbeds on the beach. Snack bar on the beach has good selection. Restaurant food is good and fresh. Hotel has nice Spa which is worth to visit. The rest of hotel is negative. Minimal selection of drinks. Restaurant is understaffed. Difficult to find clean ready table for dinner. My room was disgusting. It was total health and safery hazard! It had loose electric wires (even in bathroom), it had mould on the walls, cracked walls and doors. Room had no safe, fridge wasn't working, air con so loud that you can't sleep. Such rooms shouldn't even exist! Cleaning is minimal. Rooms has carpet on the floor, but it hasn't been hoovered once. Horrible system for beach towels. If you want to change them, you need to leave them in the room for cleaning team. How is this possible if you spend day on the beach/by pool? Overall hotel badly needs refurbishment, reception staff needs some customer service training. Wouldn't recommend this hotel. Especially not for the money they charge.

I would stay here again, we stayed for my sons birthday, messaged hotel befpre hand and were told on arrival all would be fine, we arrived, reception were rude, especially manageress, she wasnt helpful, the hotel is dated, and the family room we booked and paid for had room just for bed, no room to actually walk to the other side of the room. Food is basic and not something you will enjoy, entertainment team, they jave stuff to do during the day for example teaching dance, but stated clearly no children, not be politely either. There is no parking either. When we chexked out, the guy took key from me, no thanks for staying with us, or have a nice day, just took key. I wouldnt recommended this hotel to people, for what i paid its pretty poor, basic and staff very poor, lady in reception in particular.

Çıkış yaptığımız saat belli yeri belli yapacakları şey sadece kameradan bakıp çantaya ulaşmak acil dememize rağmen şu zaman arayın bu zaman arayın diyorlar. En son yarın sabah arayın dediler. Sabahtan beri ulaşamıyoruz otele. Kaç kere aradık kaç kere ulaşmaya çalıştık. Böyle mi ilgileniliyor.Kaç dk lık iş bu? Çantamı sadece unutmuştum bu ilgisizliğinizle çalınırsa ona da şaşırmam. Bi an önce ilgilenin lütfen.
