Conveniently situated near ski lifts with stunning views, this place provides great hiking opportunities and a well-maintained pool area. However, guests were dissatisfied with breakfast options, pricing, and poor service quality.

Wow. This lodge is a historic museum worthy of a trip to see it alone. The furniture in the lobby and dining areas are original furniture which totally wows me. Built in 1937 it stands on the southern slope of Mt. Hood and it is truly awe-inspiring. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1977. Views from the lodge are gorgeous overlooking Mt. Hood in one direction and Baker Mt in the other. The alpine drive up to the lodge is also lovely. Highly recommended.

Such a beautiful historic property. I loved all the wood and big fires in the lobby and outdoors. The rooms were very cute and authentic but don’t expect much space for your items. The beds were super comfy and the towels were so plush!! The outdoor pool and hot tub were so nice as well! We enjoyed a nice steak and fish dinner and then a delicious buffet breakfast. The restaurant staff was awesome! We loved our stay !! Lots of snow on the mountain - we were there the last day of April

Complete lack of any management during the checkin or checkout process. We were checked in and out by an employee who did her best but told us she didn't know how to check people out and was not trained. When you pay $400+ per night you would think that you get some level of service, but don't expect that here. I've travelled all around the world and have never experienced such incompetence by management level staff. This was a new experience in the very worst way possible.

Lots to explore at the historic Timberline Lodge, an architectural masterpiece nestled on the slopes of Mount Hood ⛰️ This iconic lodge, built during the 1930s as part of the Works Progress Administration, is insane craftsmanship and resilience. With its hand-carved beams, stone fireplaces, and stunning views, it's a cozy mountain escape. Oh, and did I mention the resident Saint Bernard, Heidi? This sweet pup has made Timberline her home, greeting guests with her warm, fluffy and slobbery presence. A perfect companion to this lodge’s history and charm! ✨ You could spend hours here or just have a quick lunch.

Timberline Lodge is a National Historic Site (NHS) as it was built in 1936-1937. Nostalgic hotel had community fireplaces on three levels and multiple bars and restaurants for food/drinks. Game room has table tennis and shuffle board and there is a gift shop onsite. Rooms/beds were cozy, clean and comfortable with complimentary water on bedside tables. A ski rental shop/ski equipment shop is across from the hotel making it super convenient for skiers. There is a pool and hot tub on site, but we were too busy relaxing by the fireplaces to use them. I highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing would be the best way to describe the Lodge. The rooms are simple. It is a lodge not a 5 star resort. I'm a skier so I know what to expect. Food and the Bar were solid. The history and architecture is what makes this place special. I am glad it snowed.

The only reason to stay here is for ski access to Timberline ski resort. As a hotel it’s terrible. My room was as small as a prison cell, not clean, and extremely noisy due to being near two hotel restaurants - it’s so bad that the rooms come with a note about noise and earplugs. It was hard to sleep. Also, the employees here are young and inexperienced (some didn’t even know where various things were in the hotel). Luxury prices for a ***** mall experience. I’ll stay at Best Western next time.
