Beautiful place to stay! This Quinta is wonderfully located within walking distance of Pinhão. The grounds surrounding their facilities are immaculate. You feel like you’re in a painting and every photo you take is amazing. Great amenities; TWO great pools, loungers, shared common areas with TVs, books, games, coffee makers and water filters. Most Americans are disappointed by the availability of good clear water but this place has filtered and cooled water dispensers all over. The staff are very friendly. Most speak English very well. The two restaurants, one casual and the other fine dining, are amazing. I tried 3-4 entrees between my wife and I and was blown away by the quality and delicious combinations of flavors. They do not have 24/7 reception and an old fashioned check-in/out process so plan ahead. Some of the rooms are in a newer building that is a 4 min walk from the main area. It’s not that bad but i could see those with mobility issues having problems. The wine tour is amazing, informative, and delicious. Our tasting was in the cellar which I recommend as you will be in for a surprise. Rooms are ample sized, great shower/water pressure, and comfortable. If you’re looking for a beautiful, comfortable, and centrally located place to stay out this place at the top of your list.
