We had a lovely relaxing week here. Our room was large with double balcony, plenty of storage in the bedroom. It is in a quiet place with a handful of restaurents 5 minute walk away, we walked along to the next village which took around 20 minutes and there are more restaurants on offer there. We were disappointed that the onsite restaurant was not open on an evening, as when we booked the holiday it was advertised as being open. We enjoyed lunch at the hotel which was suffice. Joanna and George are brilliant serving you drinks on the afternoon and evenings

We are currently half way through our stay(me and my daughter) From the moment we checked in, we had the warmest welcome! The day and evening staff are so warm and friendly and will do anything to make your stay perfect. They can arrange excursions for you. The room we’re staying in is a twin room with little kitchenette which has 2 ring hob, kettle and toaster and lounge area. There is a hairdryer provided and the safe is free to use, there was a bottle of water in the fridge. Rooms are spotless and are cleaned with fresh towels daily. Breakfast had a good range of foods. There isn’t any subbed wars either😊 As you head out of the hotel and turn left it is just a short walk to the beach and local restaurants, myself and my daughter enjoyed meals at Avra. If you come out of the hotel and turn right, walk for 15-20 mins(depending on your pace) you will come to a couple of bus stops(either side) one side takes you to gourves/malia etc and the other towards Heraklion. Very enjoyable stay and we will be coming back.

Amazing place, staff friendly and very accomadating. Rooms very clean and comfortable. I return most years i love it here. Ioanna at the Pool bar is fantastic and her Frappes are top. I would recommend to anyone.

My family and I stayied in this hotel during two nights and we loved this place. The staff is really kind and the hotel is fantastic. The view is unpayable and the apartments are wonderful. We had the bed and breakfast option and the breakfast was various and delicious. We're really thankful to everyone in the staff and we recommend this stay to everyone.

From the moment we arrived at 3am, we were greeted with the most warmest of welcomes! The apartment, was spacious and modern, plus a bottle of water was left in the fridge for us so we could have a drink when we got there. Joanna, the morning bar lady was brilliant, and she remembers everyone's name! George was the evening barman and he was amazing! Remembers everyone's drink and will go out of his way to make a cocktail of your choice. Breakfast had a really good choice of everything, and there is a lunchtime menu, which is very reasonable. The location is very quiet with only a few restaurants and a small supermarket within walking distance. Most of restaurants have their area on the beach, if you buy a drink (waiter service) you don't pay for the sunbeds! However if you walk about a mile along the coast path, it is a little bit more lively, with a selection of bars, restaurants, shops and water sports activities. We will definitely come back again!

We had a lovely 2 week holiday to Golden Bay. We enjoy a smaller hotel and it had all that we need. The rooms are clean and well appointed with all we needed. The pool area although small always had enough sun loungers for everyone to be comfortable. The food was also very good and we especially enjoyed the lunches. The hotel is a short walk to the beach area with great places to eat/drink especially catering for young children. It’s also only a short distance to the aquarium which is worth a visit and day trips to local historical sites. The 2 things that really make this hotel though are 1. The beautiful view from the restaurant with incredible sunsets. 2. The staff who were so friendly and attentive. We really missed hearing ‘Kalimera’ each morning from the lady who runs the bar. The staff all work incredibly. Would definitely stay again.

Early in their season but whole place very clean and tidy. Every member of staff were so helpful and friendly. Quiet location, good breakfast selection, daily apartment clean, well kept pool. Great location looking out at Cretian sea and several pleasant restaurants in walking distance
