Built in 1825 and beautifully updated as a Chateau/Hotel, this is a must visit nestled in the woods in Normandy and a quick drive to Paris (about an hour). Large bedrooms with great views, modern bathrooms, an incredible staircase, classic dining and sitting areas, this could not be easier, more elegant or a greater value. The restaurant is a region al draw and the menu changes. We had a fixed menu at 59 Euro and it was nothing short of spectacular. A mushroom soup with cream and herbs, foie gras, pan grilled pork chop with braised leak, potato and an herbed cream sauce, scallops and moules in white wine, wonderful desserts and a very nice wine menu. We stay at Chateau hotels a lot and this will be a regular return visit. Highly recommend.

We recently stayed at the Chateau for four nights. The whole stay was very enjoyable. Situated in the countryside just outside a small village just a short drive from the Dieppe - Paris road. There was a nice size swimming pool and extensive gardens . We had a room that was quite large with a settee and armchair. The room had a nice view out over a local equestrian center and surrounding countryside. The breakfast on offer had all the bread, croissants jams meats etc along with local made yoghurts cereals and fruit juice. The local fresh pressed apple juice was really nice. There was also a selection of teas along with the coffee. The evening meals which are prepared by the proprietor Phillipe were the highlight of our day. He is a really accomplished chef who prepares some really lovely food.

Je fréquente cet hôtel depuis plus de 2 ans et j’ai pu tester à peu près toutes les chambres. Oui c’est dans son jus mais c’est surtout très propre ( combien d’hôtel avec des salles de bains aux joints noircis? Pas ici)…cela change des chaînes que je fréquente aussi mais qui se ressemblent toutes. Accueil professionnel, literie excellente, environnement qui nous éloigne des grandes villes, et la liste est longue/ testez le restaurant , ici le chef cuisine. Pas de chichi mais des produits de qualité.bien travaillé. Bref allez y . Et pour la petite touche nostalgie pour mon dernier séjour cause retraite une attention de Michèle qui m’offre une coupe et du foie gras. Merci.

Le château, un petit bijou architectural géré par des propriétaires passionnés. De très belles salles décorées avec beaucoup de soin pour les fêtes . Les dîners se déroulent dans une ambiance feutrée avec feu de cheminée. Le chef cuisinier propose une cuisine goûteuse et authentique, le service est assuré par une équipe de professionnel et d’une grande gentillesse. Chambre joliment décorée et très bien chauffée et petite intention « une fleur de Noel . » Mille mercis à tous pour cette parenthèse hors du temps.

Après une arrivée enneigée.. magnifique domaine. Accueil chaleureux .. whisky au coin du feu parfait .. dîner excellent sur recommandation de Michèle « madame la Châtelaine 😜 »… chambre spacieuse agréable bien chauffée .. toutou bien accueilli les animaux sont rois .. petit déjeuner copieux .. œufs brouillés du chef .. une tuerie .. adresse à retenir et à recommander..

Malgré un cadre et un séjour dans l'ensemble agréable, je me suis fait dérobée une importante somme d'argent liquide et mon nécessaire à maquillage. Tout cela, dans mon sac fermé à l'intérieur de ma chambre verrouillée. Au dire du Directeur, ce n'est pas la première fois mais il s'est justifié en disant que le personnel de ménage était une entreprise extérieure... Il semblerait que les chambres disposent d'un coffre-fort mais encore faudrait-il en être informés à l'arrivée surtout vu les précédents. Me concernant, ce sera mon dernier séjour là-bas.

Chambre n°23 dans son jus, peinture cloquée et moisissures. Parc agréable. Bon lit. Les toilettes de notre chambre étaient en panne. Un samedi soir difficile de trouver un plombier. Mais malheureusement à notre départ, la propriétaire qui nous a vu partir ne s'est même pas déplacée pour s'excuser de la gêne occasionnée et/ou nous faire un geste commercial. Décevant.

Malgré un bon séjour dans l'ensemble, je me suis fait voler mon argent liquide et du maquillage au château de la Rapée, dans ma chambre qui était verrouillée. Quand j’en ai parlé au propriétaire, il m’a répondu qu'il y avait déjà eu des précédents, et que le personnel de ménage était une entreprise extérieure… Il m’a demandé pourquoi je n’avais pas utilisé le coffre-fort, ce à quoi j’ai répondu que je ne savais pas qu’il y en avait un. Ce que je ne comprends pas c’est pourquoi il n’informe pas les clients de ces vols potentiels et qu’il y a un coffre-fort dans la chambre. J’ai passé un très bon séjour, mais de voir qu’il ne prenait pas plus au sérieux que ça l'incident, et de savoir que le personnel fouille les sacs ne me donne plus envie d’aller au château de la Rapée !
