We returned to this quaint and comfortable Hotel Restaurant Taillard in the village of Goumois which is half in France and half in Switzerland and joined by the bridge which crosses the beautiful River Doubs. We were again lucky with the weather which was perfect for a stroll by the river and lounging by the little pool in the hotel‘s garden. The rooms (nos. 5 + 17) were spacious and very clean. All the staff were helpful and warm and friendly. We ate here both nights and enjoyed wonderful, authentic French cuisine and wines. It was another excellent experience and we‘ll go back soon! Thank you team Taillard.

Magnifique séjour dans un cadre sublime. Service impeccable, hébergement et repas parfaits. Tout cela au cœur d’une région qui vaut le détour. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le calme du lieu et la gentillesse des hôtes. On reviendra!

Il nous restera hélas de notre récent séjour en août dernier dans cet établissement une certaine déception. En effet, pour la partie hôtellerie, il est clair que nous ne comprenons pas le classement en 4 étoiles et le tarif pratiqué par rapport au confort de la chambre que nous occupions ( N° 4), bien en deçà des prestations attendues pour cette catégorie. Celle-ci a bien besoin d'une franche rénovation, à l'image d'autres chambres pour un tarif identique !! En plus, il a fait très chaud cette semaine, bon, on ne va pas s'en plaindre, mais il faut avouer que la climatisation serait un vrai plus, surtout pour une chambre exposée en plein soleil toute la journée ! Heureusement la partie restauration nous a donnée plus de satisfaction : la cuisine est excellente et le service professionnel et attentionné. Le petit déjeuner est correct. Sinon l'emplacement est remarquable dans cette si belle région, même si on peut déplorer une circulation intensive le matin due aux trajets des frontaliers mais ceci n'est évidemment pas de la responsabilité de cette maison...

Wir kommen seit 40 Jahren und es ist immer top . Trotz Wechsel der Fam. Taillard sind wir nach wie vor sehr zufrieden. Wir kommen pro Jahr mindestens drei mal. Immer Menüs m Weinbegleitung und Übernachtung. Preis Leistung perfekt. Umgebung traumhaft ruhige Lage

C'est un peu back to the future. L'hôtel est bien situé pour ceux qui ont une chambre en face de la vallée, très belle vue. Ma chambre était grande et avec une belle terrasse. La décoration de l'hôtel est hors d'âge, ça mériterait un petit rafraîchissement, comme par exemple des couettes dans les chambres. Pas de chaînes câblées ni C+. Le restaurant se la joue grand style, c'est bien mais par contre très je n'ai pas trouvé mon bonheur dans l'assiette, portions trop petites et ma viande était sèche... une belle présentation ne suffit pas. Le seul pain présenté est fait maison, mais c'est plus une brioche qu'autre chose. Beau petit déjeuner. Tarif un peu élevé selon moi pour une soirée étape.

Hôtel très bien. Repas très bien. Personnel professionel mais peu chaleureux. C'était un we familial de retour après 65ans... Il faut 200caracteres.. Que écrire de plus ? Calme, situation parfaite. Belles balades autour. Chien accepté (10 euro) dans chambre.

Très bien Après avoir redécouvert le Taillard en automne 2021, nous y sommes revenus en septembre 2022. Et nous y reviendrons assurément.L'hôtel est idéalement placé pour de belles et longues randonnées le long du Doubs et découvrir les trésors de cette région. En automne l'ambiance est particulièrement magique. La chambre était très confortable et chaleureusement décorée, belle salle de bain. Le tout très bien tenu. Seule la moquette de la chambre est un petit peu défraîchie. La literie est confortable. Nous recommandons de choisir les chambres avec vue sur la vallée. La cuisine servie au restaurant est de grande qualité et très soignée, les portions à la carte sont belles et généreuses. Les prix sont très corrects compte tenu des produits. Le maître d'hôtel est de bon conseil pour les choix des vins. Et une note d'excellence toute particulière pour toute l'équipe. L'ambiance est chaleureuse et agréable. En résumé, très bon séjour.
