Popular Gottingen 4-star Hotels

The hotel is well located for travelers with their own car but it is a bit out of the city for travelers arriving and departing by train. The building is rather new and well managed. Unfortunately amenities are rather basic and the hotel restaurant-bar closed at the weekend. The breakfast is of reasonable quality and contain a notable variation but in general nothing stands out.

The hotel is a rather basic business hotel providing clean rooms and a reasonable breakfast. The location is excellent for travelers using train. The location at the border of the old city gives good access to All tourist targets and access to university offices at the center of goettingen. The new campus can be easily accessed with public buses. The negative effect of the location is the noise caused by the traffic and the beer garden of the hotel.

This is a rather new hotel that was built at the former location of vertinary medicine of the Georg august university. Very good, it is a relatively large hotel in Europe, and it is very quiet and the breakfast is good. Not far from the city center, it is also very convenient to the supermarket, walking is just around the corner, and it is convenient to see various attractions.

A very nice experience at Romantik Hotel. The receptionist was nice, and all the furnishings were very clean. I enjoyed the room very much. The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast. The only hot food I got was eggs; I was expecting some hot sausages.

Perfect for a longer stay in Göttingen, about 15-20 minutes walk to the city centre and to the train station, bus stops in front of the door. Good equipment, gym/suna from the hotel can be used at an additional cost and washing machine & dryer are free. All right in itself! The ventilation is not optimal, if someone cooks in the building smells it very inside for food and the other renters are partly awful than a woman living alone (not racistly meant, But there were many Arab men groups who were mostly sitting in the foyer when I stayed). For shorter stays I would rather book the free spirit at Hbf.

Back to Göttingen, I still live here. The hotel is very close to the North Campus. The surrounding environment is very quiet. The hotel is very clean and tidy. There is an Italian restaurant downstairs. Breakfast is also very rich.
