"The parking lot is small, so you need to go to the back to park, but it doesn't cost money. The front desk has a bad attitude. After I gave him my passport, he said he wanted to see the booking information. I showed him the confirmation letter, but he only opened one room. I said we gave two people's information at the beginning. He said he didn't know. So I looked at the booking confirmation letter and it was boring. The name and room number were clearly stated on it. "The hotel is clean and tidy with complete facilities. Although I booked a single room, there are two 90cm single beds. The slightly disadvantageous thing is that the hot water is not very hot in the morning, but there is plenty of hot water at night. It is recommended to take a shower at night. The key pendant is relatively heavy, but it can be stored at the hotel front desk."

"This is a rather new hotel that was built at the former location of vertinary medicine of the Georg august university. The link to biological sciences is further illustrated by the name of the bar: herbarium bar. The later is rather professionally run as long as the main bar keeper is not busy sharing recipes with his friend. The rooms are well designed and practical but arguably the quality of the design does not hold the highest expectations. The location is excellent but the rooms are quite despite the closeness to the main train station. As many hotels in the post COVID-19 phase, some of the you her staff require further training. In summary still one of the best hotels in the center of goettingen."

GGuest UserBack to Göttingen, I still live here. The hotel is very close to the North Campus. The surrounding environment is very quiet. The hotel is very clean and tidy. There is an Italian restaurant downstairs. Breakfast is also very rich.

KKa LokA very nice experience at Romantik Hotel. The receptionist was nice, and all the furnishings were very clean. I enjoyed the room very much. The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast. The only hot food I got was eggs; I was expecting some hot sausages.

GGuest UserThe hotel is well located for travelers with their own car but it is a bit out of the city for travelers arriving and departing by train. The building is rather new and well managed. Unfortunately amenities are rather basic and the hotel restaurant-bar closed at the weekend. The breakfast is of reasonable quality and contain a notable variation but in general nothing stands out.

The breakfast is very rich, and I didn’t get tired after eating for 3 days! The front desk service is very authentic and very kind. This is a century-old shop, but the house is very warm, the setting is very German, and it is very strong. The original landlord of this building was a physiologist and zoologist. In short, highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe house has 5 rooms separated on a whole floor, plus the floor is wooden, the sound insulation is not good, whoever comes out to the bathroom can hear everything, not suitable for people who sleep lightly, but I feel okay with earplugs.
The kitchen is well-equipped and clean. The toilet is a bit small and not soundproof. The room is not big but it is enough. The whole process is self-check-in and check-out. Occasionally, I have to stay for a short time. I have to choose a hotel to enjoy the space of one person.
