Very nice hotel with great service, nice rooms and an awesome breakfast. The only thing is that the beds were quite hard. But all in all a VERY nice hotel! We will definitely come here again. Also a plus for easy charging of E-vehicle.
A heads up though is to watch out for speeding cameras entering and exiting the village over the bridge.

Brilliant place in a beautiful area, driving distance to Göttingen. Business seems to still be slow after Covid so the reception was unmanned and the restaurant was closed. Very clean and nice room and lots of good places to get dinner in Göttingen. Would strongly consider booking again when things open up fully.

For 9 months, my family had received the reservation confirmation for the premises for my son's confirmation party on Pentecost Sunday. For 2 weeks I've been phoning the gentlemen to finally get a short appoin**ent to arrange a menu. Yesterday it was finally time to reach someone. Shortly thereafter, the father of the hotel operator called again to CANCEL...with the words "You have now noticed that Whit Sunday falls on a Sunday, and it would not be worth having staff available for such a small event." And I'd get a table somewhere..." 2 weeks before it was horrible Thank you Hôtel Beckmann for nothing! I have never had to experience such a business practice!!! PS: E-mail traffic to prove my accusations are of course available
