Clean, good service, friendly

The hotel is a rather basic business hotel providing clean rooms and a reasonable breakfast. The location is excellent for travelers using train. The location at the border of the old city gives good access to All tourist targets and access to university offices at the center of goettingen. The new campus can be easily accessed with public buses. The negative effect of the location is the noise caused by the traffic and the beer garden of the hotel.

The GHotel offers first-class accommodation for all types of travelers. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and stylishly furnished. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous, and the service is excellent. The hotel also has well-equipped meeting rooms and offers a variety of services for business travelers. The location of the hotel is ideal as it is close to the train station and many shopping opportunities.

The room is very average and has everything you need. It's good enough for a four-star hotel. I didn't eat breakfast, so I can't comment. The biggest highlight is that you can walk to the train station.

This hotel is fantastic and the customer service is LOVELY. Everybody at the front desk was very helpful, as were the cleaning staff, the beds were very comfortable and the rooms were nice to look at, clean, and organized. The kitchen staff are SO nice (Maria is super helpful and nice to talk to) and if you need to, you can keep things in the fridge behind the bar. The location is really great: close to the train station but still in a pretty, green area. The windows are good for airing out and the curtains block out almost all light even into the day! They have good tap water and an even better water dispenser in the lobby. The bedding is very comfortable. The wifi is strong and free. A special commendation goes to André-- he was incredibly helpful and forthcoming, gave us tips on navigating the city and the German systems. Definitely a good experience! Would recommend to a friend.

We were at the Ghotel Göttingen last weekend. Everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. Super friendly and helpful staff in all areas. We had a room on the 5th floor with a view of the city center. Everything was clean and in very good condition. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired; if something is missing, it is immediately replaced. The Ghotel Göttingen can be recommended without reservation. We would be happy to come back next time we are in Göttingen.

Normal welcome, nothing more! Hotel not air conditioned, too bad when it's 35 degrees! With the windows open, you can hear the trains clearly! Very satisfying continental breakfast!! For the rest it’s meh! I do not recommend in summer for other seasons!

The first thing that is nice is the 24-hour reception, which makes things quite easy for shift workers like me. There is also a very friendly reception, even at 4 a.m. Late check-out is no problem, free until 12 p.m., until 3 p.m. there is a small surcharge. The room is a pleasant size and well equipped, with everything you need. All in all, I had a pleasant stay there.
