We were on bike trip in Gotland and stayed in this amazing Hotel. It is close to the Ferry to the island which makes it very convenient. The hotel has an amazing terrace to have a drink in the sunset. Restaurant is serving very good food. Very friendly staff. I can definitely recommend.

The Fårsunds fästning is an excellent option if you wish to visit the north of Gotland (Fårö) and at the same time get a piece of interesting Swedish history. The rooms are all in heavy concrete (and really cool) but at the same time cosy and offer all you need in terms of comfort and equipment. The resto offers tasty lamb from the region and the breakfast offers a variety goodies (although the berries were a bit too cold). Well worth a visit!

Converted from an old military fortress into a hotel this is a very cool place. They have kept some of the old unique walls which is great. The restaurant is fantastic. We had Moules et frites and local lamb sausages, both were outstanding. Breakfast is included and very fresh. Sauna and pool nice but could've been cleaned better. The window is towards the hallway and hotel and not to the outside. Blinds were not good and windows single glazed so it was both noisy in the room and not completely darker out. Could even see in/out in some spots. Dehumidifier in bathroom could be turned off but the ventilation in the bathroom could not be and it was very noisy. Beds too soft. Another strange thing is that they lock the place up between 11am and 3pm so you cannot evwn get in to use the toilet while you wait for your room. Staff friendly and helpful. WIFI very good which was needed as phone reception patchy

Auf der Suche nach einem Abendessen fanden wir dieses außergewöhnliche Restaurant, dass nur auf wenige Gäste ausgelegt ist. Die Speisekarte umfasst ca 8 Gerichte plus Desserts und wir entschieden uns alle 5 für den Burger, um den Koch in der kleinen Küche nicht zu überfordern. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Unser Essen kam nach einer angemessenen Wartezeit und war köstlich. Die Buns leicht geröstet, das Patty saftig und medium gebraten. Abgerundet mit frischem Salat und einer selbst gemachten Burgercreme, die genau die richtige Schärfe hatte, dazu knusprige Fritten. Alles zusammen den erst einmal im Vergleich zu anderen Restaurants höheren Preis wert. Ein Genuss für Burgerliebhaber!
