Premier Inn Gosport

The staff at this premier inn were really friendly and greeted us warmly every morning for breakfast! The place itself was very standard for a premier inn, the room was clean yet basic but had everything we needed for our stay. We chose this hotel as the location was near to family members that we were visiting, but it wasn’t really near anything else of note apart from some shops across the road and a pub next door so may not be a good choice if you were visiting for a holiday. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.

Fantastic hotel and service! This really is a fabulous team. Reception were helpful throughout our stay and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was amazing cooked by Lee. Will be back in the summer.

On arrival we could see lots of men in white shirts and uniforms, many were drunk and they were fairly loud. We were on the second floor. We got in and turned the a/c, as.it it was warm. My son went to the loo and got into bed. When I went into the bathroom I was shocked as the bathroom had not been cleaned. The bath had green marks and hair in it. There was dirt around the sink and dark hairs on the loo. Knew they were not ours as we are light haired. As my son was in bed, I just cleaned it and went to bed. Sleep was a struggle with the party upstairs and the a/c continually turning off. We had been asked at check in to book for breakfast, we booked for 8am. On arrival to the 40 seater breakfast area in the foyer we could see it was extremely busy. Staff said they had 150 people in today, they asked us to sit near the desk. After around 20 mins we got a table, which was in line with the main enterance door. This was rather chilly. The food area was very small land the two staff members out front were running around and constantly trying to fill everything up and deal with customers.

Lovely hotel, great staff, very clean and presentable, outside of building looks worse for wears but nothing to grumble about based on the overall experience. I was greeted straight away upon arrival and was made aware of what to do whilst receptionist was away from the desk but had no issues to need any assistance. Very clean, very tidy, very friendly staff.

Excellent service staff are really good on up keep of cleanliness. Lovely smiley faces very welcoming and food is excellent.

If our first room didn't stink of sick I would have given a much more favourable review. On complaining we were told there were no other rooms available. So we had to stay in a room stinking of sick with a wet sick stain next to my bed . I had a sleepless night due to the smell. Fortunately we were moved to a a much better room the following night. Our old room 206 was removed from use the next day we noticed. This room should never have been let out in this state.

Excellent location opposite a retail park and about 1 mile to the Portsmouth ferry. The room was clean, comfortable and very quiet. It was half the price of another Premier Inn 3 miles away. We ate in the pub next door which served great food and reasonably priced. The hotel did do breakfast but we left too eatrly as long drive ahead. Yes we would stay there again if in the area.

We visited the restaurant at breakfast time. We weren't staying in the hotel, but as we live locally we were passing by. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming. Sophie was so sweet and helpful and Lee was really lovely and made sure we were happy with everything. Nigel on reception was very helpful too. The prices are very reasonable and the food and the choice fantastic. Definitely coming again!

Top hotel, good pub next door. Enjoyed a spot of dinner there. Room excellent, bed and provisions good, nice large TV. Charlene and Lee produced a great breakfast, poached egg was spot on !! Location excellent for folks who want to do there own thing.
