Very efficient check in for a pre-booked stay with helpful English speaking staff. The room was very comfortable although there was a small gap in between the twin beds put together to form a double. The swimming pool and sauna area was very clean and a real plus point. Breakfast was very good but the toaster could be bigger and better placed. Check out was also very efficient.

· Location of the hotel is very strategic and convenient. The staffs can speak English and German Buffet breakfast was Ok, although price is abit steep for the little variety available - 15€ per person. Disliked · The ceiling light - the main room light - was not working since the moment I checked in. I had to inform reception 3 times, and only on the 3rd time when I went down directly to reception to inform, did they mentioned that they are unable to fix my room light! So I spent 5 days 4 nights in a hotel room with NO room light except for the toilet light and the small tiny lamps at the head of your bed, which cannot do anything in the room! Extremely disappointed with this, no compensation whatsoever for this technical trouble!

The positive thing was that the room had a terrasse and everything in the room was OK. The view from the hotel (but not our room) is great. The bad: The wifi didn't work. I asked one employee and she said; ”The wifi always works. If you can't get it to work, then YOU are doing something wrong” and then she left!!! Tried to talk to another staff member, but other than showing me the password, she couldn't / wouldn't help. The next morning it - as by a miracle - worked, without us doing anything. Talked to a 3rd employee (the manager?) when checking out, and he said that the staff doesn't know anything about the wifi, and showed me it worked. However, at the same time, the network to the credit card terminal stopped working... The trash can in the room smelled so badly from smoking/cigarettes I had to place it outside. Had to reserve a timeslot in the restaurant, even though it was almost empty (other hotels and restaurants in Germany simply asks you to fill out a form for Corona tracking purposes)... The room was very small.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is located over several old buildings and is full of character and charm. The room was very clean and renovated to a high standard. The bed was very comfortable and I was pleased to have a tea and coffee station in the room. Breakfast was amazing with lots of good quality food to choose from and the breakfast room was a modern glass building that had been cleverly integrated into the hotel. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming and I would highly recommend staying here.

I have eaten many lunches at lunch. Often we met friends and business friends to eat here. Unfortunately it has become the victim of Covid-19-Pandemie. Otherwise, it was still as I remembered when I left Goslar in 2014. You could once again use a pince, sliding paper and colour in individual places, but it's all clean and spacious. This is especially true for the rampe to the parking lot: without rampe everything is a little difficult because the house is not really without obstacles. Very good as then: friendliness and service. Better: with an e-car you are welcome here and can also load here.
