The staff at the Bird of Paradise Hotel reception are very nice, always smiling, and willing to offer a helping hand. The new hotel manager was on the ground helping his staff get our conference room set up the way we wanted without complaining as I experienced at the Gateway Hotel. The rooms are a little old and may need some paint touchup, especially the rooms overlooking to NUSFUND office. Also some pest trea**ents to control cockroaches. The a la carte menu is fine but for me is expensive in comparison to the quantity and quality. The restaurant waiters I think need to be more customer-focused just like the team at the reception.
