The most wonderful, unique hotel experience we have ever had. Carus is built inside a hillside with so many stairs going up and down, you can feel you can fell you are living in an Escher painting. Our ”cave” room had tall windows but there are evidently others without. It was beautiful and the view from the roof restaurant at down with the hot air balloons rising was breathtaking. The sunset views just as spectacular. The heated pool is an experience in itself, carved into the high ceiling cavern.

The hotel was very comfortable and was very comfortable. The mountains can be admired in the morning. Strategic location: a slightly higher view, a quiet area, than the center of the country, which is still accessible in a few minutes walk. The possibility of booking tours, even with guide in Italian, is a pity that they had not understood and we met in the morning at the date but missed the guide. So ask confirmation! Car parking: 5/6 Car seats are in front of the hotel but prepare for wild parking and for milimeter walks between cars and walls. Wi-Fi available in the courtyard When booking ask if the rooms have windows because those ‘shoes' are really ‘shoes' For us it was a great experience.

This hotel is beyond what it is advertised. Not only is the hotel located in the best location in the city with amazing views and impeccably clean rooms it also comes with one of the best breakfasts Ive had at a hotel. The views you get tat this hotel are unparalleled. The hotels ambiance is to die for as it feels as if you are staying in a cave with all the amenities you could want. Besides the hotels amenities it is important to note the hotels staff. The hotels staff is one of the most professional and helpful people I have interacted with. Specially SERHAT, words cannot describe how helpful this man was. We arrived at the hotel with 0 plans. This man acted like our travel agent booked our whole trip for us. He was constantly in contact with us when things got canceled due to bad weather and would make adjustments for us to have something else to do that day. Just interacting with and getting the services from Serhat was worth the hotels rates, the rooms were just a plus. I cannot vouch more for this hotel, highly recommend to anyone considering visiting Capaddocia!

My wife and I just returned home after spending a wonderful week at the Cappadocia Cave Lodge. The hotel has an excellent position, high on the hillside in Göreme; perfect for viewing the stunning local scenery and the early morning balloons. As other reviewers suggested, reaching it by car is a bit chaotic, but added to the experience and we never failed to find a parking spot close by. It's the same for all the hotels in this crowded little town. From the moment we arrived, the staff could not have been more helpful, always on hand to suggest places to visit, organise tours, give local knowledge etc. There was quite a nice family feel to it. Our room was great, really giving us the cave experience we wanted. It was well appointed (although some drawers for our clothes would've been nice and a few extra coat hangers in the wardrobe!), very clean and everything worked. The hot tub was huge! The room really was something different (in a good way!) and positively contributed to our holiday. We picked this hotel based on other reviews and have no hesitation in recommending it too. You won't be disappointed!

Family of 3, stayed from September 3rd till September 7th, 2022. From the moment of our arrival to Nevesehir airport till the moment of our departure to the next destination we felt welcome. Very family-oriented environment, exceptional hospitality, and smiley faces. We were given a tour of the hotel and amenities, then taken to our rooms. Our room was a cave room called the king suite with terrace (Room number 304). It was beautiful, authentic, clean, and had an AC. Beautiful spacious marble bathroom. Room authentically decorated in Cappadocian-Turkish style. Sheets were changed and towels replaced upon request. Lovely housekeeping team. Front desk very receptive and helpful, all hotel staff went above and beyond to tend to guests to make sure all were having a great experience. Given the nature of it being a family run hotel, it had warm friendly vibes. SETEN RESTAURANT – absolutely to die for! Best restaurant in Cappadocia hands down. Breakfast – best spread ever lots of choices. Served by lovely people. Dinner - It is a definite MUST. Especially the Muhammara, Mutancana, Testi Kebab, and Pumpkin Dessert!!!! I do advise you to book your tours with the hotel but make sure it is with the hotels Kelebek Tour company as we had a frightening experience with a company in city centre. Thank you to the amazing staff at the hotel that made our stay in Cappadocia memorable. We are avid travelers so believe me when I say this hotel is well worth it especially the fact it is THE best view to watch the beautiful hot air balloons fly over Goreme with many caves surrounding you. Special thanks to front desk - Duru, Amir, Sena, Murat - and including Seten Restaurant – Hussain, Utku and Serife – including anyone else I may have forgotten to name, you are all doing an amazing job. Cannot wait to be back!

We spent one night at the hotel. We arrived early in the morning, left our things, and went to wander around the city. We were met at the hotel by very friendly guys who told us everything and showed us everything! thank you very much Begimai!!! The girl greeted us like old friends! The hotel is located on the highest point of the city and from a very authentic terrace you have a gorgeous view of the entire city! It would be a wonderful evening spent on the terrace with exactly the same enthusiastic guests! Breakfast is worth a special delight! Abundance of everything! and also with this view I recommend this hotel not only because of the view, but also the excellent attitude towards guests

Hotel is located at ending point of Goreme,Capadoccia.As it is at end of main location of Capadoccia it’s different from other cave hotels of goreme.This hotel has huge parking space and it is not too hilly like other cave hotels in goreme.property is bit old,but maintained properly.Its not conjusted like other cave hotel.Rooms are too spacious and airy.Bathrooms are quite big and clean.We stayed at stone room as cave rooms are not available.But our stay is as comfy and satisfied like other cave room. Hotel front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Restaurant staff are bit lazy and non-attentive. Pool area is good and clean. Turkish Hamam is fab. Sauna is quite big and comfortable. Food was awesome. Location is mind blowing. Recommend for families and elderly people.

The welcoming was very good. The staff was friendly and they even helped with the bags because the room was on the bottom and there are a lot of stairs to get to the top… I struggled a bit to get my laundry that was handed in. They were supposed to return it at 5pm the latest, and by 8pm I had to go ask in person by walking all the way to the top, after numerous calls to reception. The guy working in reception when handing in the keys and getting ready for the airport was not friendly. (Also the same guy who said to wait the whole time for the laundry). It’s as if everything was too much trouble for him. He was also supposed to give breakfast to us leaving early morning for the airport, but he never did - although it was arranged and paid for in the reservation deal. Overall a good stay as the room was clean, private, big and very beautiful. Unfortunately it was too hot at night and I had to sleep with the windows and door open because the water heater could not switch off, even though I asked the, (not friendly) receptionist to assist. He only said turn the knob to the left but it didn’t do anything. I would recommend the hotel 100%, just the receptionist taking over from the welcoming receptionists would make me think twice before staying there again.

This is my first time to travel in Cappadocia and so lucky to live in this cave hotel. The receptionist was very proactive and being nice to help us. He helped taking all the luggage going up and down the staircase. He also helped us to call to the travel agency and told us don’t worry when we were waiting so long tome at the reception for our tour guide. Also, the breakfast in here was delicious and we were being well-served. I was surprised that they offered a room service (fruit) for free on the rainy day. It is so warm to live in here for these days. Nevertheless, the scenery in here is spectacular and so relaxing.

My wife wrote an comment but I wanted to write it, the hotel is not a cave structure in the Visual Center, it is a rock structure and bungalows, balloons fly over the hotel at morning hours but unfortunately it did not fly because of the air opposition on the day we went. A hotel that offers breakfast and I didn't expect such a great breakfast, it's clear that we liked fresh and warm... Mr. Joseph and Lady Rabia welcomed us. When I was concerned about the first holiday with my 2-month baby, they always focused on the solution to remove all my concerns. I said the child would be sick if the room was cold, but the petekees kept the room very warm, my baby sleeped very well. If we had time, we would have extended our holiday, but we agreed next time:) I say, Mr. Yusuf, Mrs. Rabia, but other friends I met in the restaurant were very kind of to the lady. I congratulate and recommend the operation
