A beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting. We spent 3 nights here and even the rain couldn’t dampen our love for this spot on glorious Lake Maggiore. We needed a relaxing couple of days and we got what we needed. The food was delicious .. the staff friendly and attentive .. the views were exceptional .. it was very quiet and peaceful for us.

My wife and I loved Villa Margherita, everything about it. Our room was inviting and very comfortable, our view of the lake was great. The dining room offered delicious food at a reasonable price. The wines from the region were perfect. Breakfast was among the best of our trip. What really was impressive was the friendliness of the staff, just terrific, ready to converse, interesting people. We would stay there again in a flash. If I could give the VM an 11, I would. We've stayed at many Relais et Chateau. This was very similar. We were there for 5 nights over Easter week. It was cold and rainy the whole time, but the stay at VM made it sunny and bright.

Wonderfull hotel. Quiet. Exceptionally clean with top notch service. 5 minute check in! 35 yr anniversary and recvd a spa on our deck! Near great restaurants. Only problem 2 nits only, easy place to stay here for a week! What a shame. Highly recommend

I really wanted to give five dots review. The hotel is lovely. The grounds are amazing. Nice pool. Staffed outside bar open from noon until late. Outside tables have beautiful views of the lake. Plenty of parking. The staff was perfect, friendly and helpful. Dinner in the restaurant was good if not great. Now for the reason I didn’t give five dots. The room. I found it lacked some needed comforts. It was small. It didn’t have a table or desk. We normally will picnic in our room for lunch or dinner and it was nearly impossible without a table and the hotel did not allow outside picnics. There was only one chair for two people. Overhead lights only except for one bedside lamp. Why only one? There were two of us in bed trying to read. Another lamp so we wouldn’t have to use the overly bright track lighting on the ceiling would have been nice. Very few outlets and inconvenient for charging a phone. Had to lay it on the floor. The bed was ok. The room clean, and the bath was nice.

Very nice hotel with an excellent service. Relaxing and chilly. Food excellent. Location with a one million dollar view. Brings you back to a time when Lords and Ladies drank tea in the afternoon, dressed in cocktail suites

Nothing was too much trouble. Demetri’s welcome was the introduction to a group of very caring helpful and efficient staff. Sylvia and Laura looking after everyone’s needs through afternoon and evening. Excellent room, views, wine list and menu. Breakfasts were equally as good

Wunderschön gelegenes Hotel über dem See. Wir hatten 3 Nächte in einem Zimmer im 2. Stock mit Blick auf den See. Die Gartenanlage mit Liegestühlen ist sehr schön, jeder findet einen Platz. Das Abendessen war sehr gut, etwas hochpreisig, dennoch empfehlenswert. Nachmittags kann man einen Cocktail mit Blick auf den See geniessen. Die Auffahrt in den Ort ist einspurig und zum Glück kam uns niemand entgegen 😀 Parkmöglichkeiten am Hotel und in unmittelbarer Nähe sind gegeben. Im kleinen Ort selbst kann man nicht viel erleben, direkt um die Ecke findet man jedoch einen Lebensmittelladen für die alltäglichen Dinge. Wir haben uns in dieser Ruheoase sehr wohl gefühlt und sollten wir noch einmal zum Lago Maggiore zurückkehren, kommen wir gerne wieder hierhin zurück!

Ottima location in un contesto favoloso. Camere accoglienti con vista lago impagabile. Staff cortese e disponibile. Prezzi molto accessibili, adatto sia a coppie che famiglie. Se fosse aperto tutto l'anno sarebbe interessante da visitare anche in inverno
