Disappointing. I’ve stayed at the Kimaya a few times before, and it’s not as good as it was. The best thing about the hotel is the friendly car park staff. The rooms are dated, the bed not particularly comfortable, the bathroom badly laid out, small, smelly, and veritably not spotlessly clean. I don’t blame the cleaners - how do you clean a bath when you have no access to it?
The reception staff are superficially friendly and efficient enough. Our biggest gripe was that the hotel refuses to take food delivery, which must be left outside by the gate. And they won’t tell you that it’s arrived. It’s a strange policy, especially considering the room service menu is not that great.
Breakfast is ok, again, not as good as it was.
As a regular visitor to Jogja, I hoped that the Kimaya would be my regular hotel for many years. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll be back.

Location next to a gallery mall, banks and tugu. Staff are friendly and helpful. Restaurant have delicious local menu. Unfortunately room facing city view are very noisy

The room is clean and tidy.. but I've requested twin beds. Instead, they gave me a king bed type.. but it's okay.. other than that, everything is good.

Aircon not cool. Pillow was too soft inner filling like been use for more than 10years. Shower area prone to accident as need to climb bath tub for shower n easily trip as theres no anti slip provided. Old TV.

No shuttle to Maliboro although advertisement behind receptionist counter shows otherwise.

Nice hotel and have a good facilities of fitness center.
Only the pool operation hour is up to 17.00 no more allowed to be in due to no guard.

Male receptionist not helpful to resolve water issues in the hotel. 1 room was bad because the water runs out black and dirty. We had to call the manager to resolve but it took us a lot of effort to resolve. We are not the emotional type but his unfriendly attitude make us angry and impatient. Sorry please train your front desk people because they are the first time we meet.
I request for twin bed, he said I did not request. Attitude problem front staff, the male staffs.
