Staff were lovely, helpful and the service was great. However, we were late being given our room as they were behind on the cleaning. Wouldn't usually be an issue but we just needed to check-in, drop off our bags and go. Staff did try to make the room ready asap which was great. Room was ok, a little tired, needing some updating/fixing up as it was missing a toilet roll holder and the wallpaper was peeling by the window but otherwise it was nice. Some of the hallways were a little smelly for some reason, there are plug-in's to try and cover this but they didn't seem to do much. Didn't have any food so I can't comment

Wow, what can I say .... Just spent 24 hours at gomersal park hotel, dream spa. Firstly we were met by Mackenzie on the hotel reception who was very friendly and helpful, then Sarah on reception in the spa was so welcoming but all staff in there were amazing. Thanks to Dotty and colleague for our personal treatments they were amazing!! The facilities in the spa and changing areas are fantastic, with the use of a spa bistro for afternoon tea which was lovely. Our room was a newly refurbished dream spa room, facilities amazing, bathroom fantastic, bed, pillows, sheets so comfy..... Didn't want to check out. The staff in the bar and restaurant were friendly and helpful, couldn't do enough for you. I would definitely recommend the indulgence gold package, I've left feeling de-stressed and wanting to return soon. Thanks so much to every body involved in making our stay so special xx

We recently had our wedding here and was amazing! The staff here are what make this place special! Gemma and Colin are incredible and nothing was ever too much. During the planning, Gemma was super helpful and calmed our nerves. It was so easy to talk to her too! On the day, one of my little girls was very overwhelmed and Gemma came to the rescue! (Thank you!) Gemma even left some cake in the bridal suit for me! Colin was really helpful as I have an allergy and made sure that I was taken care of. He was super helpful too! If you’re thinking of booking a wedding, please consider here. Our guests all had a great time and everyone said the hotel was amazing ❤️❤️ They helped us so much and would recommend here to anyone! Thank you once again ❤️ (sorry it’s late) Lots of love…. Sam and Danny

Arrived for my daughters 40th birthday weekend and had a ball, Fantastic stay, all staff giving 100% outstanding service , food was amazing, only down fall was the pool which was freezing staff was aware and did tell us but wanted us to pay extra £30.00 for the privilege to use the spa, which we declined but would recommend this hotel and would go back

I could not fault anything. The spa facilities were great and cleanse, the treatments were amazing, the afternoon tea was excellent, the evening meal and breakfast was excellent, the staff were all extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Our room was also lovely and clean. My friend is a vegetarian and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. I had the indulgence platinum package and it was worth every penny. It was such a good deal. I would 100% recommend. I will definitely go back. Thank you.

This review is just for afternoon tea. We attended on a Groupon deal. On the Groupon website it states `warm, freshly baked scones'. They were cold, small store bought scones. It states `served with a selection of homemade preserves'. Each person was given one, very tiny plastic container of see through jam, to try and spread it between 2 scones. You can buy these in Bargain Madness, you just peel back the small piece of plastic. It states `indulgent clotted cream'. There wasn't any. No butter either. It states ` a delightful assortment of finely crafted pastries and cakes, each showcasing a blend of flavours and elegance'. Blimey, this could not be further from the truth. Each person received 2 small pieces of sponge squares. The photos that are showcased on Groupon in no way represents what you actually get. There was only one member of staff serving, a very nice young lady who I am sure did her best. They were 5 tables occupied. However we were always trying to get her attention for either some knives so we could cut the scones, asked for some cream, some more milk because the jug was only half full, some hot water for the tea pot etc. There was a table of four nearby who also asked her for some cream, then 20 minutes later said they were still waiting it. I'm afraid there was no attentive service at all. Another table of 2 ladies asked her for a pot of hot water twice. These should be just basics. After we had finished we were waiting to catch her attention again to ask for a small box to take the 2 sponge squares home and she was no where to be seen. We waited and waited. I stood up to walk around to see if I could see her and she was near the kitchen, lent over a table on her mobile. She was very nice and I am not saying it was her fault. It is down to training, experience and lack of management over seeing things. I think she needs assistance and leaving it all for one person to do everything isn't fair to them, or the customers. Finishing on a positive note, the tea pot was large so it was plentiful and the finger sandwiches tasted fresh (3 fingers each). They consisted of ham, egg mayonnaise and cream cheese and cucumber.

Booked this as a birthday treat for my mum who is full time carer for my dad who has vascular dementia. Me and my sister arranged the date so we could take time off of work, my sister was taking mum to the spa and I arranged to look after dad. I was extremely upset to get a phone call from my sister to state upon arrival the venue stated spaseekers had not booked the spa day! I contacted spa seekers several times but was only spoken to or acknowledged when I used the online chat. Spa seekers blamed the spa Gomersal Hotel. I spoke to the hotel who admitted they were partly to blame and offered a bottle of Prosecco as an apology. This was not great but decided to accept this. Both knew I was having spinal surgery the next day and that I would not be able to look after dad for a while. They stated they would send an email and I could rebook when I was well enough. I never received an email, only an email to state my booking was cancelled from spa seekers. Again I questioned this and when I did received a refund. I would not recommend or use spaseekers again or Gomersal hotel spa again. I am furious when I should be recovering and mum should have had her special day!!!
