Excellent hotel and customer service. We arrived early morning and got in our room more or less straight away. The girl at the front desk did a great job and gave us a lift to the station as well as some free local tea. Great halal restaurant next door too. Excellent choice for Golmud! Highly recommend! Also due to her help we had the energy to go to Qarkan lake, thanks!

A good basic room, comfy and much bigger than we expected. The beds are a bit hard but extra pillows are available.
The staff are friendly and helped us contact a driver.
*Worth noting that if you are a foriegner then many of the attractions and scenic areas outside Golmud are off-limits.*
Breakfast was OK! (there is a good coffee shop in town called Wuli Coffee).

This hotel stay truly exceeded our expectations! When we arrived early, the room wasn't ready yet, but the front desk lady promptly stored our luggage for free and even handed us two bottles of iced mineral water, which was incredibly refreshing on a hot day.
The room wasn't overly large, but the layout was very logical. The bathroom had a nice, dry and wet area, and the hot water came out quickly and at a consistent temperature, making for a wonderful shower. The bedding was soft but not sagging, and I didn't feel any back pain after two nights of sleep, which is incredibly important for someone like me who prefers to sleep in a bed.
The breakfast variety wasn't amazing, but it was solid, and the local noodles were incredibly tasty.
I was in a hurry to check out and forgot to take my charger, but the front desk called and said they had it for me, which was a real plus. Overall, I felt it was a great value and would definitely stay here again.
