Kaibang Hotel Geermu

This is one of the better quality options in Golmud (there aren’t many). The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was good. Unfortunately, the service was very poor - there were no functioning USB ports in the room and the hotel was unhelpful - seeming unwilling or unable able to offer a solution. The “room service” is actually takeaway food delivered from outside the hotel but no cutlery/chopsticks was provided with it. When we asked the hotel to provide some, it took nearly 20 minutes to arrive (longer than the food itself), by which time the food was getting cold. We had to ask repeatedly for sufficient drinking water, having only been provided two small bottles for two people. Aside from the poor service, the hotel is in an odd location, surrounding by closed shops and building sites - nowhere near the commercial centre of the city - with nothing within walking distance. With the right management, it could be an excellent hotel, but it’s not quite there at the moment.

This hotel is about 5 minutes away from the water Yadan, which is very convenient. This time in Qinghai, this is the most decent hotel and the price is the most expensive one. Personally think that you want to book a triangular house, not a glass house. The glass house is downstairs, and it is also near the restaurant, so it is noisy and the room is small. The house on the second floor of the triangular white house can see the sunset and sunrise on the other side of the Yadan. I live in Room 13. The sun is on the right side of the terrace and then go forward. You can ask the hotel to see the sunset room first. It should not be Room 13. Sunrise can go out of the door early to see the opposite road, there is the sunrise location. There are more mosquitoes at night. If you are coming in summer, it is best to prepare mosquitoes for water. Close the door as soon as possible, remember to close the door of the terrace, the mosquito here is more stupid, basically found him, you can shoot it to death, but the number is not small. Anyway, I was not bitten this night, although, if you ask me again if I want to stay in this hotel on this floor, I think it is worth it, because you can take a lot of beautiful photos here. The hotel's restaurant tastes OK, there is no complaint, although the rice is poor, other dishes are good. The service here is very good, the environment is good, the facilities can be more improved, but in the desert place, I will not ask too much.
Yellow River International Hotel

The location of the hotel is easy to find, parking is very convenient, and it has its own parking lot. The room is relatively large, clean and tidy, the bedding is soft and comfortable, the air-conditioning heating, and the room has a continuous diffuse oxygen supply device, which fully relieves the fatigue brought to our body from the Tibetan Plateau. We arrived at the hotel late in the evening, and the front desk clerk ordered us free noodles immediately after asking us. We were already very hungry and tired, and thought the noodles were refreshing and fragrant! I am embarrassed to patronize and eat and forget to take pictures. There are many varieties of breakfast, especially fruits, which are highly optional. The overall service attitude is very good, whether it is the front desk or the floor attendants are worthy of praise! Especially the help given by Lancuo and Baobao is commendable! Will choose this hotel next time I come to Golmud.

I have been to Golmud for a lot of business trips. I stayed at this hotel for the first time. The overall feeling is really good. Whether it is health or service attitude, I am very satisfied. Plus breakfast is also quite appetizing. Recommended

Nothing very special, normal hotel, breakfast was ok-ish, ok for a good rest. The hotel management was very understanding when we had to cancel one night due to some transportation issues.they were useful with info about the surroundings. We would stay there again if we come to Golmud.
