We booked a vacation at this hotel for June 2024 based on the reviews. Upon arrival, no one met us with the transfer, so we had to walk about 500 meters with our luggage to the hotel, assuming you can find the way. There was a long line at the reception desk, and only one staff member was checking in over 15 people in line. During check-in, we were informed that the next day we would have to pay an additional 20+ € tax per room for a seven-day stay. The room was quite comfortable but very small, with a limited number of sockets. The bathroom had only liquid soap and two towels, which were very worn out. Cleaning was at a very poor level, and there was a constant sewage smell in the room. But the worst part was the service and the food. The food was monotonous, tasteless, and got worse every day: cold, overcooked, rubbery, and under-seasoned. The bar didn’t help either, as the selection was very limited: water, beer, wine, and a few types of local spirits. For non-alcoholic drinks, only water from dispensers in the restaurant, mineral water at the bar, and three types of artificial juices were available. These juices tasted even worse than they looked. There was one coffee machine for the entire hotel, which constantly had long lines, and the coffee tasted more like chicory. For fruits, the first few days we had only apples and oranges, later occasionally cherries and watermelon appeared. Breakfasts included four types of unsavory scrambled eggs, horrible sausages, and cereals. Lunches were a couple of types of pasta, soups, and rice. The meat and fish were horribly prepared, and the salads seemed to be leftovers from the previous day. Dinners were almost the same as lunches, just without soups. In the All-Inclusive restaurant, the staff behaved inappropriately, approaching girls with personal conversations. After politely asking them to respect personal space, stalking and then ignoring began. The staff liked to lecture the guests, including bartenders, receptionists, and cleaners. It felt like you were not a hotel guest but a child in a summer camp with unpleasant counselors. Bringing food and drinks to the rooms is prohibited, with fines ranging from 50 to 100 €. At the beach bar, everything is for an additional fee. To drink water on the beach, you have to get dressed and go back to the hotel. Moreover, the hotel infrastructure leaves much to be desired. The pool is very small and located in the dining area. Poolside spots are sold to guests from outside the hotel. Internet is also poor - Wi-Fiwith a good connection is available only in the lobby. If you plan to work or stay connected, this will be a problem. Overall, our stay at the Gloria Palace Hotel was very disappointing, and we do not recommend it for a visit.

This hotel is extremely clean, the receptionist Elba was very helpful, she was very attentive to our needs. Breakfast was included with our stay, there was a lot of variety, even for the fussy eaters. The beach was just over the bridge. I would definitely recommend this hotel. My only advice is that it was difficult for us to find using google maps. We drove around for about twenty minutes. Perhaps better signs on the road side would help. Overall this was a fantastic hotel.

It was probably the worst 5-star hotel we have stayed at. Much was missing from the EU standard for 5-star hotels, such as bathrobes and cosmetic items. Staff who couldn't speak English, etc. The food was disgusting. We had paid for all-inclusive, which was very limited. The beach was dirty (forget the clear turquoise sea). I can recommend other hotels in Albania but not this one. This hotel should be rated as a 3-star hotel at best.

We stayed here for a couple of nights as part of a trip around Albania. The hotel initially looks beautiful and in part it really is. The rooms are comfy, we had a junior suite so had a lovely sea and pool view. We upgraded to all inclusive, the food was ok, not amazing but edible. You quickly have to learn where and what you can drink, just beer and awful soft drink juices at the beach bar. The pool bar you can get most other drinks wine, spirits etc. The pool area is far too small for the amount of people in the hotel and the beach, whilst a private beach for the hotel it is able to be used by others so difficult to get a sunbed at either location. There is an al carte restaurant used primarily by outside people from the hotel, they reserve all of the seats inside and out so there is no where to sit if you want to enjoy a drink after dinner. Finally the rules, there is a rule for everything. Just didn’t make for a relaxing stay. There are many more hotels I would stay at rather than this one.

Upon arrival, there was no one to meet us for the transfer, forcing us to walk about 500 meters with our luggage to the hotel. Finding the way wasn't easy either. The bathroom only had liquid soap and two very worn-out towels. The cleaning quality was poor, and there was a constant sewage smell in the room. Additionally, we had a problem with the door. If the door was not firmly closed, it emitted an annoying sound, warning us that it was not properly shut. Initially, we managed to close it after three or four attempts. However, the situation worsened, and on the penultimate day, the door would not close at all. A receptionist who was walking around noticed our struggle and helped us. Later, the same issue recurred, and a cleaner noticed and finally called a technician who "fixed" it. Yet, by the evening, the door still wouldn't close. I went back to the reception to report this again. They were surprised, saying, "Again? But we repaired it today." They apologized and promised someone would come to fix it. We waited, and as time passed, the situation became increasingly frustrating. To avoid the noise, we propped the door open with a slipper. We called the reception again, and initially, no one answered. After a second call, they were very surprised that no one had come yet. Eventually, a technician arrived and demonstrated that we needed to press harder to close the door. He also mentioned that the person who could properly fix the door was in Tirana and would only be back the next day. The service and food were the worst aspects of our stay. The food was monotonous, tasteless, and got progressively worse each day: cold, overcooked, rubbery, and under-seasoned. The staff want to check everyday usage of the minibar. It's really annoying, when you do not use minibar, and you cannot rest, they are disrupting your free time. It doesn't seem like the All inclusive hotel at all. Food is repetitive, sometimes it's really difficult to choose something tasty. Poor All inclusive - no wine at a beach bar.

The food for 2 weeks was the same every day and of poor quality. Salads are often from the previous day. Meat not eaten for lunch is cut up, poured with sauce and served for dinner as a new dish. I didn't leave my room for 2 days because I was sick due to poisoning with stale food. Alcoholic cocktails are not included in all inclusive. Beachwear is not allowed in the 'Pool Bar'. The bartenders at the 'Beach Bar' completely ignore all inclusive customers. There is no outside toilet and you have to wear clothes to go to the lobby toilet. There is no bottled water and the only dispensers are in the restaurant which closes at 10pm. The lack of water in bottles is explained by the hotel as taking care of the environment, but drinks are poured into plastic cups. Coffee machines mostly don't work. When the black tea ran out we had to wait 4 days for a new one to be delivered. No ice cream was served for 2 weeks. The wines included in the all inclusive are diluted with water and completely tasteless. Pool seats and beach chairs are sold to people outside the hotel, therefore there are not enough places on the beach for hotel guests during the weekend. The service also sees nothing wrong with removing guests' belongings in their absence to sell the place. The promised sauna and gym are open 3 hours a day. The beach in front of the hotel is dirty. There are a lot of cigarette butts in the sand that no one cleans up. There's a lot of waste floating in the water. The water is always very dirty and there are usually lots of stinging jellyfish in it. The only nice moments we spent in Albania were when we rented a car in a neighboring hotel and went south to Sarande for 4 days. Yes. We rented a second hotel because we couldn't take it anymore at Gloria Palace.

Food is Cold and poor. Cannot understand why all food is cold. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Eggs, meat and french fries -everything cold. Don’t buy all-inclusive! There is a lack of kitchen and service education here!

very nice place. Absolutely 5 stars. However, the service is lacking. In the rooms, bathroom there is absolutely nothing that should correspond to 5 stars. No ear swabs, no soap files (liquid soap only), etc., absolutely nothing. The breakfast buffet is perhaps worthy of a 3-star hotel. Service and staff unfriendly, no good morning, no greeting. The management should definitely train its employees in dealing with guests. Paper glasses or plastic glasses for coffee. On arrival you get wristbands, like in a simple mass hotel. No suitcase help. Conclusion, building great, but the management should definitely visit another 5 star hotel in the world. The price is good, reasonable for a 3 star hotel.
