Homewood Suites by Hilton Goldsboro

Had to come to town for family funeral, it was sad, but good to see family and other members and old friends We haven’t met. Wilbur’s barbecue was after service meal! Never can miss Wilbur’s for a good meal! Husband says the town has sure grown up, but it is an easy hour from Raleigh Airport.

This is simply a lovely hotel. It’s fairly new and well cared for. We were greeted warmly by the front desk attendant. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name to give her an atta girl. I asked about restaurants close by and she handed me a well organized and comprehensive list to review. Our room was a different floor plan than I’d seen before, but it was very efficient. Lots of storage areas, kitchen, large TV, lots of plugs for phones,etc, a nice desk with a comfortable chair, and very comfortable bed. We didn’t hear a peep through the night. Breakfast was delicious. I was there for business and will hopefully have the opportunity to visit again.
