Definitely NOT a 4 star hotel! Both indoor and outdoor pool were freezing and water was dirty, key for the room stops working all the time. Very limited range of drinks and have to pay for basic drinks like iced coffee. You have to reconnect to the wifi about 15 times a day as it automatically disconnects you. Doesn’t offer towels for the pool. Furniture is very old styled in the rooms. The walk pathway to the back entrance of the hotel is terrible. However, food is very good.

It is a very good hotel. Minor shortcomings in the style of, for example, a smaller-ish pool does not overshadow the good food, the overall high cleanliness or the wonderful courtesy of the staff. We stayed with our family of 11 people overall, no one complained about anything. Children were delighted with the animation team. Not an amazing experience, of course, but I can say with a clear conscience that the stay exceeded our expectations and I can recommend this hotel.

I'll start with the good hotel nice, food nice although a bit repetitive, towel for the pool, reception bar man. Now for the not so good there are very few English here so no chit chat actually far from it, plastic cups for every drink maybe in the evening you will get a glass but you have to ask for one and you would think ashtrays were an endangered species. They have a cold drinking water machine but not allowed to fill your water bottle only plastic cups. Lifts are a nightmare only 2 for 6 floors forever waiting and the hotel was far from full, long walk to the beach and the paths are terrible especially the back short cut and lastly quite shocking there is a tip jar in the restaurant as a couple were leaving they couldn't get the money in so the meet and greet lady helped only to keep it and slide it in her pocket. Will not be returning.

Everything was excelent. Diversity of food, professional staff and animation. Pet friendly A well-prepared staff, 24 hours guarded parking, enough space at the pool for everyone. Inside pool with guard, so also children can go and swim. They check daily the ph pf the water and clean the pool and the seats. I recomand for family/friends/business trip.

Our animation team is great. They are: Gali, Gabi, Kari, Koko, Sveto. The food was very delicious. We also have a lot of relax here. And the Vale from the receptions helps us with big bug so the people here are so helpful. Go there and take fun here!

Hotel was nice very clean spacious rooms with nice pool view balcony. Food let it down massively our daughter has a dairy allergy we spoke to the hotel in advance who suggested we bring our own food. The hotel advertised different theme nights but the food was the same every night and didn’t taste good at all. I have included a photo of what is meant to be fish fingers and chicken! The entertainment was on stepped seating which is not very practical for a small child so we did not go to this. Most of the time the music was from the hotel next door!

We had a great time at Madara Hotel. We loved the food , the rooms are clean and comfortable, the pool is perfect. I’ve been to at least 20 Bulgarian hotels in my life but this one is on my top five . Even the people who are working here are very nice, helpfull and friendly . And the animation team :Dimi, Yoni, Sveto, Gabi, Kari, Koko were always with a smile on their faces, a positive energy and just lovely. I have nothing negative to say about my vacation here .
