I was so looking forward to the stay. I wished we had never gone. The most unorganized and possibly deceitful owner. I don’t know what the problem was. This place has so much potential! We were quoted 8000NOK ($746.14UD) with breakfast for a family of 12. When we arrived we had to move stacks of painted gutters and such to park the car. The house was surrounded by scaffolding and workers showed up early to work on the house the next morning. Then we were told they wouldn’t include breakfast. The owner complained the rate was too low to include breakfast. When I showed her the email she sent me she relented to include but told us we couldn’t have breakfast until 10am. We ended up getting our own breakfast because we couldn’t leave so late. A special place that wasn’t so special. The good news is that every other part of our experiences in Norway have been spectacular from hotels to restaurants and sightseeing.

A true little jem in Gol: we really enjoyed the true Norwegian experience with our beautiful wooden cabin with typical interiors and fireplace while outside was snowing. Food was delicious! Thanks for your hospitality, it was our best experience in Norway!

My wife and I went to spend Easter in Gol to do some activities and we found this super nice farm. Ligia spoiled us with a great welcoming and everything from there was just perfect! The Stabbur has an old-times charm with many modern facilities so you'll feel comfortable. The breakfast is amazing with homemade bread and fresh eggs right from the hens. The farm is perfect for kids so they can interact with the animals at the farm, it is also conveniently located 10 minutes walking from Gol Sentrum and many attractions around. Super recommended!

We spend a night in one of the log cabin which was really great as well as the host on site. The site is really nice and confortable with outside furniture to enjoy the view while chilling (table, hammock, chairs) around the farm.

Excellent accueil de Ligia, une personnalité à découvrir ! Une super nuit passée à la ferme, chambre tout confort et meublée à l'ancienne avec de beaux objets ... Regrettons de ne pas avoir réservé plus de nuits ! Avons adoré la balade au cratère météoritique de Garnos.

Un posto davvero spettacolare, come un piccolo villaggio di case in legno con il fascino del tempo e tutte le comodità moderne. Abbiamo preso una casetta che aveva 2 stanze con bagno e cucina, davvero spaziose e comode. Anche la colazione ha qualcosa di spettacolare, all'interno della struttura principale. Inoltre l'accoglienza speciale della titolare ha reso il soggiorno davvero magnifico, "il posto più bello che ho visto in Norvegia", ha detto mia figlia. Anche la zona si presta ad infinite escursioni, ad un passo da 2 Parchi Nazionali e in un villaggio elegante e molto vivace, raggiungibile con pochi passi a piedi
