We just returned from a four night stay at this hotel, where we rented a penthouse suite, located on the top floor.The design of this apartment was excellent; floor-ceiling windows, which could be partially opened to allow the sea breeze to cool the rooms (much appreciated during the present heatwave). A modern bathroom with two washbasins, sauna, wellness bath and the most efficiently designed shower unit I have ever encountered. Living room with mini kitchen faced the sea and we watched the sunrise over the Danish coast. We self-catered, but enjoyed a couple of visits to the Strand Cafe for coffee and cake.

Hotel, Café und Campingplatz in traumhafter Lage direkt am feinen Sandstrand. Absolut zu empfehlen; Supernetter Service, sehr leckeres Frühstücksbuffet mit toller Auswahl, alles superfrisch. Nachmittags vorzügliche Kuchenauswahl in sehr relaxter Atmosphäre. Wir hatten eines der neuen Appartements mit Terrasse zum Strand. Hochwertig, sehr hübsch und praktisch eingerichtet, sehr hübsches Bad, grosser TV, bequeme Sitzecke, alles tip top. Die Besitzerfamilie und die Angestellten sind super nett, sehr entspannt und sehr freundlich, wir kommen gerne wieder in dieses Paradies am Strand.

Wir waren im Dünenhaus im EG untergebracht. Das ausreichend 31 m² große Zimmer kostet in der Hochsaison im August 199,- € pro Nacht. Für das Frühstück als Buffet kommen 2022 pro Person 16,50 € hinzu. Das sind insgesamt dann 232,- € pro Nacht. Für ein 3-Sternehaus ist das schon ein ambitionierter Preis. Der Frühstücksraum mit Aussenbereich ist schön gestaltet. Es kommt allerdings etwas Jugendherbergsatmosphäre auf, da der Gast seinen Tisch selbst eindecken muss, und nach dem Frühstück muss der Gast dann seinen Tisch selbst wieder abräumen. Das bringt viel unnötige Unruhe in den Raum. Diese Art von Selbstbedienung halten wir auch angesichts eines Frühstückspreises von 33,- € für 2 Personen nicht für adäquat. Hier sollte für einen optimalen Service mit Bedienung personell nachgebessert werden.

Kann nur das Café bewerten. Das Café wurde von vielen gerühmt, deshalb unser Besuch: 1. Besuch: 11.40h - gerne hätten wir etwas zum Mittagessen bestellt - nicht möglich, Abläufe seien so, dass erst 12.00h bestellt werden kann…..slso können wir jetzt nichts bestellen ? - NEIN…..diese Auskunft in barschem unfreundlichem Ton…. 2. Versuch: unfreundliche Mitarbeiterin an Selbstbedienung, Begrüssen, Fehlanzeige, ein Lächeln, Fehlanzeige, auch sie sehr unfreundlich. Scheint nicht zum Besten bestellt mit der Unternehmenskultur, dass alle so demotiviert sind. Einzig leckerer Kuchen reicht nicht…. Kann das Café mit solche unfreundlichem Personal nicht weiterempfehlen, schade - bei den anderen Gaststätten das , Personal sehr gastfreundlich.

Wie waren mit vier Personen im Strandhaus zum spontanen Frühstück. Das angebotene Bufett war hervorragend, vielfältig, frisch mit allem Drum und Dran; auf den ersten Blick nicht ganz billig aber nach Inaugenscheinnahme und Genuss gerechtfertigt. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet.
