My wife stayed here & i just thought I’d check reviews to see if anyone else had the same experience she had. To my surprise, another guest did! Booked a room - paid in full - & when my wife arrived to check in they said she booked two rooms & the balance of the second room had to be paid in full before she got the keys to the room already paid for! No second room had been booked! My wife was over visiting her sick father at Christmas & had no other choice but to pay it. My wife showed emails - rang ‘*******’ which was apparently the provider it was booked with & even got the confirmation that nothing had been booked whatsoever- showed staff the proof - & was still given no other option than to pay. The entire stay she wasn’t even given the keys to the second room. My wife was extremely upset & felt ambushed in an already tough situation , about to see her father for the first time in a care facility. Absolutely awful.

Good stay for the money but basic Convenient for where we needed to be,basic rooms we had a deluxe king room which seemed to be the same as a standard but with a king bed so there was little spare room. No armchairs to relax & watch tv, barhroom basic, tiny shower onyl 1 hand towel and bath gel, for 2 people? Bed was ok and pillows were great. Good a la carte breakfast menu & food was good.

Best breakfast ever. Great quality meat and swapped grilled tomato for wilted spinach - Yum, absolutely amazing mix! Chef wasn't too impressed though

Highly recommend Great location for visiting the city centre bus stops outside .retail parks and restaurants 5 to 10 mins walk away lovely gardens spacious rooms

Our room was clean with a good shower but the springs in the bed had collapsed, the mattress in room 4 really needs replacing

Really good overall Really good overall , friendly staff, good size car park, food - good but could be better. Room compact but with all necessary facilities.
