Outstanding stay at a lovely hotel, booked for a mini-moon. Every aspect of the stay exceeded our expectations, with great food and service in the Orangery and Lakeview restaurant. The room was fantastic, making the best use of the view of the lake. Cannot fault our stay

Stunning location, updated, modern, new interiors make for a very comfortable stay where staff do anything they can to make you feel welcome. Lovely food, rooms and service. We're coming back!

Whist the hotel is gorgeous and the views amazing, not from our room though we could only see the car park. The bedroom was small, the lighting too dim to read by and the wardrobe was full of the ironing board and luggage rack’ Overall a beautiful hotel, with great public rooms and absolutely stunning views but the bedroom was not worth the money it cost.

The hotel was beautiful though the Ramblers bar wasn't open and the hotel bars were shut by 10pm which was a little disappointing but it was out of season.

Excellent afternoon tea - best I’ve had, amazing patisserie, so much detail has gone into the cakes, very flavourful and such skilful artistry - very tasty savoury selection, somehow managed to transform the humble ham sandwich into melt in the mouth taste sensation fab view from conservatory and very friendly staff Thank you

We have visited this hotel over the and it doesn't disappoint. The views are breathtaking and the hotel and staff provide an attentive and relaxed atmosphere . This time the weather was wall to wall sunshine. What a bonus. Recommend a visit any time of year!
