貴有貴的道理,房間窗外的湖景真美,酒店邊的湖邊徒步也不錯,在房間內的佈置的早餐晚餐輕鬆自在,推薦。

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Glencoe House! This was our absolute favorite stay anywhere, ever! The views from our stunning suite (#2) were the first thing to take my breath away. Absolutely gorgeous & serene views through huge bay windows that brought me to tears while enjoying our first exquisite in-suite dinner. The suite itself blew my mind….a huge living room flanked by a dining bay & a two-sided desk bay. I woke the first morning in our luxurious king-size bed to the gorgeously detailed ceiling & felt like royalty. The modern bathroom facilities were top of the line & including a claw-foot soaking tub with its own private bay window view. Beautiful antique furniture including our own fully stocked maxi bar. Staff were phenomenal, from the kind gentleman who greeted us, showed us all the amenities in our fabulous suite & told us all about the amazing history of Glencoe House, to the top-notch servers who delighted us with fantastic fine-dining service in the privacy of our beautiful suite. The coursed in-suite dinners and breakfasts were phenomenal. The incredibly beautiful Glencoe Lochan (lake created by Lord Strathcona for his homesick Canadian wife & daughter) was just a couple minute’s walk from our room & was so serene & romantic to walk around multiple times throughout our stay. The hot tub on the huge private terrace with such magnificent views was the icing on the cake to this epic experience!

Absolutely fantastic experience. First class venue and service. Everyone there took pride in what they did and the beautiful location of this property. From the beautiful rooms to the walking trails around the property to the meals we enjoyed; everything was first class.

Our two-night stay here while walking the West Highland Way was a lovely experience. Our two bedroom suite in the main house was absolutely gorgeous and it was very quiet — perfect for restful sleeping. You dine in your room at Glencoe House which may sound odd (at least it did to me), but it really works beautifully. The food was wonderful and the service was terrific. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

My partner and I booked Glencoe House for a family celebration. We booked lodges 9 & 11 along with suite 2. The surroundings were outstanding, with peace and tranquility from our decking allowing us to forget about our bustling lives for a few days. We had dinner in suite 2 as a group. The choices were extensive, from stunning local seafood and meats to delicious desserts and cheese....obligatory wines from our in suite bar were on hand to supplement each dish. The service was incredibly professional, discreet, and a joy to experience. We really did feel like royalty. The chef, I think his name is George, made an appearance to ensure all was well. Marvellous. We had drinks afterwards in the main hall and chatted with Angela, a local lady. She gave us fantastic tips on the best walks in the are, taking into consideration my father's slight mobility issues. The following day, we took her advice. After a beautiful in suite breakfast, we meandered around the local trail, a more or less level walk with plenty of benches scattered around it for a quick breather. Glencoe House oozes an opulence which hotels don't seem to have anymore. From arrival with James in his kilt, the decor, ambience, and the facilities on hand, everything. The 2 lodges are basically next door and are stunningly beautiful. Next level luxury! We as a group cannot wait to return. We are all smitten with this establishment and every single dedicated and supremely professional employee. Thankyou so much to all of you, and we cannot wait to visit and see you all again. Xx

We stayed here for two nights as a family of 3 (2 adults, one child age 8). The good: -the suite we stayed in had a large sitting/living room area -in this area, we had breakfast and dinner. While the inn does not have a restaurant or bar onsite they do have a) a kitchen and you can order meals to your room and b) our room (& I assume the other rooms) have well stocked bars to make drinks for purchase. It was great to be able to eat in our room, especially after long days of sightseeing (& because we hadn’t brought any dressy clothing). The dinners were especially tasty. -our bedroom had a nice alcove where the staff set up a cozy cot for our daughter -the grounds are lovely -the bathroom was spacious and the shower was excellent -the staff were kind and responsive, aiming to help and accommodate questions, etc Could be improved: -so, this is very subjective, but the inn felt very isolated. I suspect I would have liked this aspect more if my husband and I were visiting for a romantic weekend away. But, as a family, it felt a bit eerie to be so far away from everything. -the bedroom didn’t have a lot of space for luggage so it felt cramped to us -small gripe but the shampoo and conditioner was very drying and not great. It’s important to know what this is more similar to an inn or bread and breakfast, vs a hotel. If you’re looking for a cozy inn, nestled into remote mountains, this will be perfect for you. But, for a family who might need more of hotel-esque environment, it’s less well suited.

It has been 40 years since we honeymooned in Scotland and now we wanted special experiences and views everywhere we went on this vacation. Glencoe House was one of the highlights of this trip, and by far the best hotel experience for us ever. We stayed for 3 nights and had time after our daily 15-mile hikes on the West Highland Way to explore the surrounding gardens and a lake built by the original owner as a gift to his wife! Glencoe House is maintained in its original historic splendor, with furnishings that are beautiful. Upon entering, we were greeted by James, a Scot in a kilt, who showed us to our suite (number 5) and gave us a historic orientation. This suite, maybe one of the "smaller" ones, had a huge bathroom (shower, sinks, heated towels), another room with side by side soaking tubs (with bubble bath, soaking salts, heated towels) with an incredible loch view, a large bedroom with king size bed, a sitting room with a grand piano and comfortable seating, and our own private dining room, again with a beautiful loch view, for en suite dining of every meal. The food was excellent, and the servers and service were excellent. Where else do you get a visit from a french chef asking what you would like for dinner? The breakfasts included a wide array of Scottish foods, as well as traditional fare. The refrigerator and bar in the dining room had any type of wine, whisky, soda, and other things. The hotel and grounds were always nice and quiet, despite it being completely occupied every night. The entire time we were thinking that this must be how royalty really lives! We have traveled a lot over the years and stayed in a large number of great hotels, including some of the best in Scotland. Glencoe House is the best of the best!

For my birthday this year, I stayed at the luxurious Glencoe House in the Scottish Highlands. It is nestled amidst a dramatic mountain scenery and has a great history – the staff told us it was originally built for Lord Strathcona and the additional detail they provided was fascinating. We stayed in a suite in the main house, which had stunning views over Loch Leven and surrounding peaks. We also had a private outdoor space with a hot tub. What really made Glencoe House stand out was its idyllic setting, the lake, private gardens and excellent food, from locally sourced ingredients. The food was provided directly to the room, which allowed us to to dine while taking in the dramatic views of the loch - we were then able to retire to the hot-tub after to watch the sunset.

We had a wonderful stay at Glencoe House. Everyone was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The history of the House is very interesting. We stayed in Suite 6 which had a huge bathroom with a large soaking tub in the middle, and a lovely alcove for dining in the living room with a view of the mountains. Since we were only there for one night, our hiking was limited to a very scenic 1 mile loop around the lake. We'd love to go back for more hiking in the area. The dinner, breakfast and service were first rate. Overall a great experience at a Scottish country inn and we would return in a heartbeat.
