Quest Trinity House

The accommodation was really large with a lot of space. Was good heating in all rooms and electric blankets on the bed. The beds were comfortable, and accommodation was very clean. The rooms were a little on the older side, but it was excellent value for money. Location was walking distance to supermarket, bottle shop and restaurants. Accommodation backs onto main road so traffic noise could be heard but didn't impact our stay. Staff were helpful during check in process ensuring we knew what was in the local area. Would definitely stay again

Apartment needs some attention (maintenance). Beds comfy, heating was adequate (and needed), washing machine was handy. Good location not too far from central Hobart, easy parking. Really suited a group of 4 friends.

I stayed in an upstairs studio room in a heritage building. The room was cosy, had the character of a heritage building, and was spotless. I had everything I needed - although a coffee machine would've been preferred over sachets. Couldn't fault the location with a supermarket, bottle shop, and eateries nearby. And only a 20 minute walk to Salamanca.

The unit is on a main road, in front of traffic lights. We listen to cars stopping and taking off from the lights ALL NIGHT LONG. Even had ear plugs. Looking at the website photos gives you no indication it is on a main road. We picked it because it looked peaceful. WE WERE WRONG. We stayed in unit 4 and paid $370 for a night of no sleep.

A handy place to stay, with pubs and eateries nearby. We walked around Hobart and found this location was generally a 15 minute walk to the city. We took a couple of tours with Tassie Tours who collect and drop off at Quest Trinity. Very comfortable and convenient.

If you are looking for a self-contained apartment with free on-site parking that it is relatively close to Hobart's CBD then Quest Trinity House ticks the boxes. Located on the fringe of the suburb of Glebe, just off Brooker Avenue (near the Warwick Street traffic lights). It is an approximate 20-minute walk to Constitution Dock and Salamanca Place or a 5-minute drive. There is a Woolworths & BWS (liquor store) on the opposite side of Brooker Avenue, a very short walk away, perfect if you want to stock up the fridge and pantry. We ate out every day so didn't really take advantage of the ability to cook our own meals (we were on holiday). Our apartment was on the ground floor of the restored and historic Trinity House (c.1840) a two-storey sandstone building. All the rooms, including the bathrooms and bedrooms are spacious with high ceilings - reflecting the building's heritage. Our apartment had its own lounge, dining and kitchen with a separate laundry. The furnishing and fixtures were all relatively modern, though a little worn and dated. The queen-sized bed was very comfortable and given there was only two of us, we had plenty of towels, pillows and linen. We did have ongoing problems with the Wi-Fi, in that it kept dropping out and didn't connect with the TV - so not able to stream movies etc. The staff did try and help but because it was the weekend they couldn't get a technician in to fix it. The receptionist (Jodie) at the front desk was there every time we dropped in and when we checked out - she was very helpful and a font of local knowledge. Quest Trinity House is not a luxury stay but it is very comfortable and provided us with everything we needed for our short stay before we left Tasmania.
